Man, I’d love to spend a day with you and see you work. I love your artistry. I’ve been programming game shows in Flash for anime conventions for a long time and there’s so much I could be learning and doing differently.
It's called Making Flash Blockbusters. I think you'll find it interesting. I checked out your Eye Guess video, very cool. You do much better than other Anime hosts I've seen.
How many versions of this "Feud Eggcrate" has there been? I'm pretty sure there were 4 versions. 1) Version 1 had a fat "0", the "3"'s top line was all the way across, a slightly more fancy "6" (by one light, though that one light does make a difference), and a "9" whose stem went straight down. 2) Version 2 had a skinny "0", a "3" with a shorter top line, the 6 looking like your version and the nine just being like the 6 but upside down. 3) Version 3 still had a skinny "0" and the short-stemmed "3", the "6" went back to the more fanciful type of Version 1, and the 9 is still version 2. 4) Version 4, the Combs Feud, is what you seem to have. Fat "0", a "3" with a full top line, and the plainer "6" and "9"? And don't get me started to the fast money boards numbers. Until the Combs version, the fast money board and the score readout almost never matched. 😁😜 I always wondered why the number design changed so much. We're they constantly replacing the scoreboards? Also, how big were those number readouts?
Thought I was the only one who noticed that. I really don't have any clue except maybe they used different computers to run the system. Don't forget there was one episode where they didn't use the Ferranti/Fast Money board at all because of computer problems, and another where all the displays were screwed up but still legible. Another guess is different software was used for making alternative fonts.
