I am just discovering Fever Ray and it is all so fascinating.

I love how her voice and the beat are played at the same pitch, it works extremely well. Welcome back Fever Ray you’ve been missed !!

This song is so intense. That first “beat drop” is so heartbreaking in a way.

So much strength on this whole album. She's so exposed but so powerful in her "coming out" moment.

Let's be honest: we all loved Fever Ray because of her eccentric sound, lyrics and atmosphere. She's into a different kind of eccentric and differnt now, enjoy the album, pay more attention to the details of the whole story and not one video. Let's hope she continues with her work, cause we love it, right!?

To those complaining over the videos- these dailies are just a presentation of each song of the album, it's obvious. No band has ever released a new single every day. In a month or two we will probably get a new single/video who follows To The Moon And Back. This is each song presented in a unusual way ! And that's what i love about Fever Ray, not follow the stream.

The opening of this song with the synthesized music was really dissonant to me. I did not know music could make me feel anxious like that. I mean that in the best way possible. Keep up making people feeling something!

I love the multiple layers of sounds & textures in all of Fever Ray's songs (old AND new work!!!!). Impressive! Creepy loop-video images aside, I am still In love with this group's creativity. WTG Karin!

In summation: everyone either loves or hates this new Fever Ray music, whether listened to as a whole album, or as the tracks are slowly released. Everyone loves the first video, To the Moon and Back, but only some of us get that that was the only official video so far released (stay tuned, I would guess). Everyone thinks Karin is a genius and infallible, or that this music is the worst thing they've ever heard, and they're sorry they ever fell in love with the first album only to be so disappointed by the second one. Additionally, everyone either knows that hearing individual tracks out of order on RU-vid is probably not the best way to ingest an album, and that listening to an album repeatedly over time brings out hidden depths and qualities, or that it's first-listen gold or nah. Right? Right.

The sound engineering is slick, their delivery of sound effects and vocals is like Wizard of Oz & Dark Side of The Moon. A tooth For An Eye will push your subs!!!

I have a feeling all these videos will soon tie in together.

People who are self-conscious and stupid, you can see that "fans" can be the worst thing that can happen to an artist. When they like something very much, you think about their selfishness and that everything the artist does has to be like what they like, repeating the same pattern and not letting the artist inove in their work. This album has a different and risky proposal, so the way is different to the last album and I do not hear the same.

This is like Fever knife :3 Mixture of old The knife and new Fever ray. It's something different than I expected, but isn't Fever ray here to show us something spectacular? She makes music to impress thoughts or feelings, not to please crowds. I started to love The knife because of their uniqueness. And now I love Fever ray because she's making music not to sell it, but simply just to MAKE music

I don't get the hate? Actually, no, I do get it. Every second album from an artist gets criticized more, but it's not even real criticism, it's just whining about how it doesn't sound like the first...you know that's how music is supposed to work, right? If you want, you can go back and listen to your other favorite bands that release the same shit one album after the other. This album isn't bad at all and a lot of the comments just look like an excuse to whine about something. Since that's what everyone loves to do nowadays, whine and be offended just because you can. Darkness, creepy and i felt something was missing into my feelings poket for fever ray, thanks for the answer “Dirty” If we as a fever ray fans in all over the world want it to have well produce videos, with location, customs, general productions, a million creepy scenes, we would not have any songs in a short time but a long waiting process while they edit and that stuff, i am agreee with minimal videos, prefer more music for my ears than something for my eyes, to the moon and back was enough for me jajajjajajaa. First I feel disappointed because Karin make the first fever Ray a big differentiation from knife in an spectacular way but I'm loving new fever Ray, honestly enjoy more the first but this songs are amazing.

i honestly think the videos, while amazing... are incredibly dark to the average viewer and hurt fever ray in terms of general popularity.. but sometimes an artist doesn't want to give a shit about that.. the 2nd album is great place to explore since most are going to expect something else (repeat of the first, for example) anyways. no need to later break the mold if you avoid it from the beginning. Just listen to the music - it's an entirely different experience from the video one. They're things separate to be taken in their own right. Also, what many people miss is that Karin is a synth god.

just couldn't get into this album, to the moon and back is great and i enjoy a few other tracks but overall a 5/10 album for me. the debut is still one of my favourite albums ever though love every track on that album!
