Well said! I was thinking the same thing. It’s like, they reinvent themselves with each new album but still keep that original sound everyone fell in love with. So here for it 🫶🏻
I mean, Olaf has 4 writing/production credits on this album (this song included) and his influence shows. Reznor's influence on North too is noticeable. All good stuff

INCREDIBLE TRACK! There is a very distinct style of these ridims all the way back to hearing the first Knife track ever. You Take My Breath Away , and Heartbeats were the first I heard . Then When I Grow Up. Very well crafted engineering! Attack and impact while not too complicated.Intensely Involved while breathing that ridim.Did you hear and this are superb. Shit, the whole album is heavy and timed perfectly. The world needs this just about now. Respect due FEVER RAY Something I wanted to voice about this music is there allways is a intense innocence in it somewhere. A burning sincerity.
@@arnaudbernier1406 maybe they’ll bust it out on May 3rd at the show in NYC… saw them in Bergen in 2018… and now my current favorite songs on this album are Tapping Fingers and Looking For A Ghost 🤷♀️
At 10:45am this morning: a hat trick of sorts was completed by the University of Toronto. I thought I'd be jumping through the roof (I still might) rolling around the floor of this place and despondent in gratitude. But it's been a sobering May morning, the sort of slow joy I'll never recover from. There are new utensils now, but the work remains the same. "Truths that wake never to perish, which neither listlessness, nor mad endeavour, Nor man, nor boy, Nor all that is at enmity with joy, Can utterly abolish or destroy."
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SONG! This album is awesome bc it reminds me of The Knife! I hope Karen and Olaf make more music together they are amazing as a duo. I like the title too new utensils maybe knife is coming back as another tool? Like a spoon? Lmao or a fork
Yet you could only use it to say something negative, so quick to be the first to react that you didn't give the song a chance at all. You're young, aren't you?
