You can exchange the Thai Bud or US dollars, not sure about Euros money in Any Jewelry stores. Where they sell real gold. I hear the locals said they get more at jewelry stores than the banks
@@georgiaburkey This is only apply to Laos. Most big cities I. Laos except Thai Buds but not in the suburbs. Do you watch the RU-vid channel on Travel on Toast ( the spelling of their channel might be a bit off) they get stuck in Laos for one whole year during Covid they went to Thailand for a bit and now back in Laos. Do you have a lot of experience in a lot of stuff you might want to contact them. There is a website where you can check the exchange rate. It is different every day. Good luck and have fun in Laos

My wife is from Lao and I have there a lot and they really don't think about it. They might have an opinion if you ask but they might say it's the past. They don't think backwards the way the west does. Maybe better for the head.
