Kindly correct the Article in first slide, Special Officer for Linguistic minorities is in 350(B). 350(A) provides for education in mother tongue at primary stage.

Ma’am but the definition is not there in the minorities commision act. It just says that centre can notify which communities are minorities. So ma’am as per Indian express article as well the minorities is not defined in constitution not minorities commision act. Please clarify it ma’am

So, minority commission has identified/defined minorities to be any community which is notified by the centre. Minorities is not defined in constitution. The link from the act for your reference - cms.ncm.nic.in/about.php?lang=1 Thank you!

The word minority it self is mentioned 4 times in the constitution. But the word "minority" it self has not been defined in the constitution.

Beautifully explained however provision of Special Officer for Linguistic minorities are mentioned in Article 350 (B) of the constitution as per various internet sources. Please clarify
