Easy. What ever you doing don´t kill any balloons around boss. I did this mistake my 1st attempt and have to reset because its give me unwanted EXP.
Locke cast Golem and all other was reflected and earing. Just throw 5 Ice rod and you can kill boss (If you use Terra Morph Ice rod caused even more damage. How ever i´ll saved morph mode (magic points) against Ultros, its much tougher boss..
Otherways without Rods you can just rasp and osmosed boss MP and yes its only take bit longer.
Thats look its not really matter leap Gau in Veld. Strago still join my team level 8 even all other members are level 6-7. How ever its not really matter much with this roadblock im not need Gau.
