So many good memories. I have one save file with 220 hours. I've probably played this game over 50 times, and every time I played it, it seemed like a new game.
Honestly i'm SO glad they fixed the jewel fossil thing in the sequels, it's much less annoying. Tbh though it's not too hard to just grind the higher level dig sites and get to the point where money isin't an issue anymore so at least these dumb battles aren't as annoying as level grinding battles...
No joke, this theme is in the first Terminator movie. Like, minus some of the goofy instruments, and plus some synth, but the base chord progression and general melody is almost identical. Probably just a coincidence, but a hell of a coincidence at that.
In the Captain Travers/PB Jay battle theme there's a high pitched synth in the background that plays a repeated melody that's also in Terminator. Listen to that theme, then listen to the part at 30 seconds into "Terminator Gets Guns" from the Terminator soundtrack
Idea for a Fossil Fighters stage: Fossil Stadium Stage hazards: Various vivosaurs will try to attack fighters (Ptera will try to swoop at fighters and grab them with its talons, Spinax will try to bite fighters, Stego will swipe its tail at fighters, Tricera will charge at fighters, Dilopho will spit at fighters). A Brachio will serve as an extra platform when it appears, but watch out for its stomping feet. Other vivosaurs will serve as background elements (my guess: Igua, Paraloph, Allo, O-Raptor, Mammoth, Dimetro, Smilo, Spino, Aopteryx, V-Raptor, Tsintao, Aeros, and Plesio). They can be seen either watching the fighters, eating, running, or fighting.
