Ahoy my friends! Today I am taking on the final floor of the Sealed Tower of the Cetra, the one and only Floor B90! I'll be taking this one today without an LB weapon while utilizing a very simple strategy for you all to adopt! Your guides kill it, man. Kept trying to brute force him with my 400k ice team, meanwhile my goofy 200k double support and sephiroth clapped the fight. Thanks, as always
Got it this morning after using a ticket to upgrade assault gun to ob6. Used my Tifa with ob6 holy gloves for ice dps. Used Matt with centipede for backup pdef up and main healer and his bravery weapon for Tifa . Thanks 🙏 now I only have ex2 fights left - it looks like I’m not strong enough right now I’ve been dipping my toes into those the past couple nights and keep getting wrecked.
Today I decided to tackle B90. Tried 2 times - fail. Then I watched your video, saw my weakness and boom - done on first try! Thank you! For Cloud I used Lucia - Lucia with Bald Eagle (3 tiers Ice Down) just shreds anything weak to ice. Unless you have OB10 ice weapons, she will do similar damage up tp OB6 DPS. For healing Matt with Centipede (heal + def up) and Brumble (Atk Up for my 2 physical). My mistake was dealing with ads - unless you kill the soldiers fast, it is a nightmare. So I did double Fire summon similar to you. Event with Fire pot 0, that was enough.
nicely done, i think this might be the first time i’ve seen aonibi as part of a strategy for a hard fight, it’s always fun when an unexpected weapon gets a chance to shine. i’ve tried a lot of different team comps on this one and haven’t found one that works for me yet. i’ve somehow managed to miss every single ice arcanum, and the current Zack one isn’t the right choice for my account, so i might have to put this fight aside for a bit.
I feel that, if you don't have an Ice Arcanum, then best to just hold off for awhile to save frustration. Besides, it's always nice to have some content that i look forward to clearing. And i feel ya, we all need the "right" Arcanums for our accounts, so i commend your discipline! Hopefully, Leviathan will come with an FF16 Crossover and Jill becomes an Ice Arcanum =) Cheers my friend!
hey, time for an update, i took down B90! i figured after the Level 80 cap i might have enough power and that was indeed the case, i was able to get it done with OB4 holy flame gloves. thanks for another very helpful guide. i can look forward to B90-100 now!
@@BodhiJMSRyder When there is only one. That trigger Plunge. In my fight I killed one, Second left with low hp and when third was low I killed them almost at the same time.
If you want use cloud you need matt and barret in team and thats it. Matt same weapon as tifa barret one weapon for break defense and one up defense and you good to go. And i dont kill adds he summon a dogs i kill only one then rest of the fight fo a damage.
Yes i am losing DPS. However, with my build with LB OB6 Cloud i couldn't find the right team sync. With this build, since i am getting a MATK high tier buff on Seph, his damage is actually pretty close, along with that Barret's microlaser can buff matk no physical, so I just felt like it worked in this fight. I tried with Cloud a few tries, and wasn't able to do it.
Really easy fight especially compared to Floor 70 back then. I would say Floor 78 (the one with the Worm) was much harder for me due to lack of Lightning weapons in my possession. I steamrolled Floor 90 second attempt with Cloud, Tifa and Matt. Back to having no content :(
I think b70 was harder because a lot of people didn’t take Seph seriously as a physical dps and Barret was probably overlooked and every other aoe pdef buff sucked so mostly only whales could do it for the longest time.
I know i kinda wish they made these harder right? Grats on the clear my friend, and hopefully with the next batch of floors they give us something trickier to find out, though ive heard the floor battle effects are bugged and not taking effect, and maybe that's why they are easier?
Yeah this is definitely true. Barret was definitely more overlooked at the beginning, and yeah, B70 was always a tough one, even for me months after it was available haha
@@BodhiJMSRyder if you check the info about B90 they removed the battle effect(ice resist buff+3 at wave start from the enemies won't trigger) which is supposedly a bug when they released it,
This fight. I hate the randomness. Sometimes he drain touches 3x in a row going from 1/3 to 3/4 HP... but i always die to the same thing: he summons 2x in a row. Sometimes 3x
@@BodhiJMSRyder I cut down on my time to cut down on the bad RNG rounds. I finally got it. Just keeping the uptime on the ice imperil for them big Shiva summons (i spent a little more time in the recent shiva co-op too). Team: Matt- heal with defense buff and attack debuff into red, Tifa - DPS debuffing when attack is 3x blue. Yuffie debuff and sub-DPS matt had all the heal + buff-time. Yuffie had the hp + buff-time. Tifa only debuffs attack bonus while matt debuffs into attack deficit to increase debuff uptime.
My Seph got killed near the end as he summoned a new set of adds immediately after me using ultis to clear the previous set. He was nearly dead but then I got a times up message... Just need a bit more dps from Barret once again
@@BodhiJMSRyder That was 1st attempt. I'll give it another go in a bit. If only I had some higher level Diamond Dust that didn't cost so much extra memories...
@BodhiJMSRyder I know! As of today, i only have Shiva ex2 to finish thus far. I have plenty of potions in gift box still, which will start to expire 2 days from now but I'm holding from using incase the level cap comes then I will boost my main 3 to clear content 1st.
