Ahoy my friends! Today I will be doing a Banner Review for the new Vincent Limit Break Draw Banner! HEADS UP the beginning of this video is a bit of a rant about how they did not allow us to WL old LB Draw weapons on this banner, which I believe to be total bs. In a way, I feel lied to, and I feel that AB needs to come out and just tell us straight HOW EXACTLY these banners will be working in the future. Because if we can't wishlist these weapons on LB Draw banners, then what was the point in telling us in the first place? I personally don't even really care about what they did or didn't say. Limit Break Banners should always feature older Limit Break weapons as well, period. The amount of banners that are limited at this point is way too high to have it any other way. I feel like we should make our voices heard 100% when it comes to stuff like this. Thanks for the rant at the beginning, friend. Stuff like this is important.
1 year has to be female character LB weapons , and prob cait sith or red 13 also. They were in fact very generous and still are , but i dont think it really helped boost sales for them so probably theyre intentionally going hard to get players to spend
I think their sales were much better when they were generous. The more greedy they get the worse it gets, which is a trickle effect and just creates a worse and worse outcome.
Honestly, I truly feel dissapointed that this is Vincent's first banner ever, EVER, and they made it a limited break banner, that's fuck up. I pulled for Lucia's summer suit instead, at least she will do great as buffer/debuffer.
You have earned my absolute respect for that rant you said exactly what needs to be said about the limit break draws. I really enjoy this game I’m mostly free to play i only spend on season pass and very rarely on stamina and I was completely free to play when the game was even more generous than now. I sure hope that this game doesn’t just become pure whale territory cause if that happens I’m personally quitting. Again I’m glad that you kept it real that is very rare to see in this industry. I have no earth arcanum yet and I'm not sure but I think I will only pull to get the weapon 5 star for MATK (All Allies). The thing is: for half anniversary we got fire, water and ice arcanum +Sephiroths magic one that's why I think high chances that we get lightning, wind and earth + a physic one for aniversary could be even 3 banner this time instead of 2
Was really looking to WL the Stream Saber but of course AB played us....Still the costume and weapon are amazing so props to teams in those regards, Lets see how the anniversary will play out.
I genuinely hate to be a debby downer. but I'm feeling like this banner is only the beginning of more shenanigans'. again, if nier reincarnation was ANYTHING to learn from, I don't expect things to get better at this point. as someone who is currently playing multiple gachas some f2p some just monthly passes and like one i really "whale" in, I genuinely don't understand where their thought process with these banners are. like i understand they are trying to cause huge fomo and milk insta swipes out of people, but yikes man they need to chill. im curious how JP players feel about this games state. cause they only take feedback from whoever pays the most. as is all gacha games. SE or Applibot, or both are never gonna taste that insane monthly revenue that the top gachas make if they dont actually change the model to attract more players. and the FF fan base is huge, its insane how little this game makes with relatively how big FF7 as a whole is. if making MORE money isnt what they are after, then i just dont know, i guess all of this is just to side stall people until the next part of the remake trilogy drops and etc and then the game goes EoS like a year later or something. just take a short lived route exactly like they did with Nier Reincarnation basically. also am i the only one that noticed they didnt give out zacks free summer costume for potential new players? this is what im saying, i genuinely believe they arent making the game with new players in mind, that missed old content, especially if it was given for free. it should be a constant and always accessible even if its only a once a year rerun. and now first vincent banner is just a limit break outta no where. who asked. genuinely. it's extremely frustrating. imma still try my hardest to get the costume cause it looks cool, but man they really tick me off with this every costume is pretty much limited until they figure out how they plan to do more frequent reruns. if they can even think of that.
Totally agreed with everything you said and well said. Zack's free costume should have totally been available. They're sleeping on everything and so focused on scamming people they're forgetting what they're here to do in the first place. I mean this is the FF7 fandom here. Literally we are their gold goose. I dont understand.
I don't think any of us expected a limit break banner outside of an event like an anniversary. So it was a surprise to see this banner be a limit break version. Because of the prior wording, it isn't unreasonable to think the limit break weapons would be wishlistable this draw. AB should have either left this as a normal banner or add the limit break weapons.
Bruh I'm confused about how to effectively pull for this game. I know how to do it in Genshin and Honkai Star Rail but I'm mainly a PS5 player and the allure of gacha is lost on me with the quality of games I play but I still came to this game because user reviews say it's "generous" and because of my deep love for FF7. I need this banner so bad but I don't want to make things complicated. From now on I'll just pull for anniversary banners and build characters/weapons based on what the game gives me and will not go for what I need/like lmao I'll take your word for it and will exclusively pull on the anniversary banners.
Well for now i recommend saving for the 1 year anniversary, but honestly i am starting to think more and more that pulling NOT for limited weapons is actually a lot better tbh. Much easier to level them and much cheaper overall, and they are still viable.
@@BodhiJMSRyder so far the offensive party (passive) buffing weaps , which are totally broken are limited . that last crash battle i dont even think i woulda beat it if i didn't use sephiroths LB weapon . they certainly give you an edge over someone without it imo. maybe we will get unlimited weapons with this kinda ability , only time will tell i suppose
A limit break draw on a character we have no weapon parts for is really strange feeling, it feels like they're pushing the players in a bad way to be forced to purchase weapon parts or wait ages if they don't get the rolls they want. Applibot has been a bit questionable at times (mostly just changing how they handle compensation without any discussion and the amount of banners vs crystals or letting the value of regular tickets dwindle due to the massive amount of weapons and characters, the lack of structure on magic damage vs physical for some characters and ignoring costumes for certain characters) but there recent behaviour is a bit more concerning. I still thank them for some of the positive changes like when they added weapon vouchers to the season pass and updated the limited banners to have these extra copies though. Overall I do think they gave us a heads up there was some big stuff coming though, people did have a chance to save and prepare for it so it's not all bad but it's still a bad idea how they've done it as the first banner for Vincent. I'm going to message them later to express my disappointment and I hope they're generous this anniversary or it'll be unsteady water (and I mean with crystals for proper banners and not just draw tickets ideally, they don't feel the same as being able to roll on a banner). I really felt they should have given 10 premium tickets on this banner again just like the monster hunter one, especially since they're forcing the only costume we can get on Vincent to be linked to a limited weapon. They seem to give generosity more where they know it'll not have as much impact or feel as good and avoid doing it on the banners themselves.
My assumption is that since this is specific to Vincent that that may be the reason they're not allowing other limited weapons to be wishlisted. But setting that aside it is a bummer that its limited nonetheless and no wallpaper either, these things make it less appealing. As much as I like Vincent I think I'll just keep saving for the 1 yr anniversary.
I don't think they really meant it , it was just poor choice of wording . I just always assumed limited weapons will be limited to their specific banners , which is why I recommend f2p only save crystals for limited weapons
@@BodhiJMSRyder blame the translators i guess , i can't read or speak japanese so i won't judge too harsh but yea for some reason they have had more issues in this game regarding translation errors and bad writing in general . they screwed up so bad during launch and that one banner that they had to issue hundreds of thousands of crystals to some people

This banner is filthy for all the reasons you stated. I see some comments about applibot not specifically saying that they would be available….except they did say they would be available on future LB banners. I was on the fence already before the data mines as I’m not sure courage is what I want on my DPS, I personally would’ve preferred suns favor. But now we’re all left wondering ‘are we gonna be able to get those 6mo anni weapons we didn’t finish to ob6 or ob10?’ Ryder my man, I’m sorry for you as you are in a tight spot…I think you have to pull and either get insane luck on page 1 or go through page 2 to ob6. GL my brother.

I also feel like I’m screwed coz I was hoping older limit break was on it... since I got yuffie earth arcanum I guess it is a skip... on the other hand I am considering to get tifa Barrett new weapons coz both are super useful for ex2 shiva... any thoughts? I was considering just getting 1 copy at least of barrets
Barret's weapon is really good for both Shiva and also the Shiva/Ramuh fight coming and likely the Ramuh EX2 fight as well. So if you pulled once and got a 3* version or 4*. Just use char tickets to 5* for the one copy. I think if you spend 3K and get it. It's a solid deal.
There's aren't any are there, usually they come with weapon. Maybe they're behind schedule, or being halfassed again. You know how many are working on this game? At least you got it at OB6, who knows when we'll get another banner.
@@hapwn That is the one good thing about this banner. Not having a second costume made it pretty easy to Ob6. I hope they do this type of layout for more banners not just limited ones. And yeah, who knows if/when this is coming back.
Man I miss DFFOO... Playing this game to try and fill that void but I am finding it difficult to keep up with being F2P / minimum spender (don't want to make the mistake I did with DFFOO but I don't regret that lol). Couple things DFFOO did right was everything was available (i.e. weapons/gear, nothing was limited or you could get them at a later date) and outfits were just purely cosmetic / style and to support the game, rather than having stats and bonuses applied to them. As mentioned when you did eventually get a new weapon you could boost it to max with materials (if I remember correctly, only needing power stones and than 3 ruin ingots and that was it - which you could craft with farmable fragments) rather than having to pull on the banner and waste crystals/gems. Yes, it was a gacha game but every character was viable and you could do any set-up / playstyle to complete any challenge (some content creators did bronze weapon challenges), whereas what I am finding in this game is, if you do not have the correct weapons and/or OBs you will have trouble completing content or maybe I am just bad at this game lol. I do enjoy this game but with the amount of limited / featured banners that they release close to one another it forces you to make a decision on what to go for and if you choose wrong, you are kind of boned, cause I skipped out on Zack's LB fire weapon and pulled on Clouds to get his outfit but only getting 2 copies of his Ice weapon and 1 copy of Sephiroth's (spent 30k - got shafted on RNG - 1 page), so I am having trouble completing Shiva EX etc, so I am thinking of getting Tifa's magic fire outfit and weapon but then we have Vincent's LB banner and then the Anniversary later, so I am in a dilemma :/ Sorry for the rant but thanks for listening to my TED Talk. Edit: I hope this reprieve mechanic does not be mandatory in future content because if they are just going to make content that is going to one-shot with no way other way to complete it, then I don't have much faith with the direction this game is going.
@BodhiJMSRyder I wish that they made all outfits and/or weapons available for purchase or increase the drop rate of weapons on the banners or increase the amount of weapon parts you can get or make it so you get 10 free with doing dailies each week, so you can OB weapons or decrease the amount from 200 to 100 or something. Something new needs to be added and hopefully this guild system can help with that, cause the random guild I have joined (waiting to join one in your discord server when it becomes available :D) we have got to like level 10 and the amount of materials I need for materia has decreased i.e used to take 7 to get a level 3 material now it only take 3, so here is to wishful thinking lol.
I totally agree. I miss DFFOO so hard aswell and seeing what they do with this game right now.. Square Enix totally lost interest in their players. They just want us as customers and set scamlibutt infront to squeeze our wallets. TBH all whales should just stop spending... just like they did on MH event/crossover.

No commun9manager like he was for dffo. he wasn't even allowed to name dffo and said "I did this for a different mobile game earlier" I mean come on. My take on the wording is this. This is a VINCENT LIMIT BREAK DRAW. Not a LIMIT BREAK DRAW. They are catogorising these as 2 separate entities. Still doesn't make it right. I'll guess we will see in September whether this is true or not.
They didn't lie, because they put "may reappear" to cover their asses. But this is pretty shady and not the best way to give customers confidence in future purchases. Having to always read the fine print isn't the best practice and sure you may get a couple of suckers in the end it's not a valid long term approach for a business.
Thanks for the video and voicing the communities dissapointment of not including LB weapons in the Limited Banner. It's definitely going to be a skip for me. I already have Lucia's Earth Arcanum, which honestly I've barely used since December. Also, with Vincent being a new character, I don't have him or his weapons built at all. I'm going to save for the 1 year anniversary, and if that doesn't bring back the LB weapons as a wishlist, I'll probably start dropping off the game. I've been getting more into The First Descendant lately.
Limit break are whislostable,also cait sith or yuffie first banner was a limit break,and the weapon are flower vase or something like that,and for yuffie are artic star,and all is whislistable,since I started playing I saw these characters come out and they always came out with the first limit brack banner if I remember correctly
Vincent's weapons leave much to be desired. His limit breaks on the other hand is a different story. Has anybody maxed boost limit break pot to level 7? I wonder what that's like on top of his weapons increasing lb gauge 🤔
@@BodhiJMSRyder that's an understatement, you see the charge speed, it's over 4000, with 6000% phys /mag damage, not to mention reprieve. That worries me. RIP f2p? I saw some of the guild weapons and abilities. That's pretty interesting aswell 🤔
Great video. I have Lucia and Yuffie's earth arcanum costumes already, but no "matk all" weapons. I'll wait to see if any other limit break banners appear. Bummer since Vincent will be pretty useless until he gets another banner if you don't pull on this one, since his default weapons are lackluster.
Not worth to pull when op6 doesnt outperform my non limited op10 yuffie weapon. Easy skip for me 😂 Game gets super boring. Tower was another auto clear. So we really have to ask ourself FOR WHAT DO WE NEED NEW WEAPONS ?! Its a shop and not a game. An overpriced shitty one 😅 I will skip everything from nowon. Till i struggle to clear something.
Super not ideal, but I never got any magic LB kits nor have I gotten any of the Quake kits so I went in for Vincent with what crystals I had. Got to OB 2, have 4 stamps left of card 2. 😢
Yeah shitty shitty move, i remenber after i got my ob6lb weapon on sephy, i had around 50k crystal, that usually i would not use can its too much a gamble to grab a 2nd ob6 weapon from the other banner with zack and cloud, but i pull cause of that (i would be able to whislist in other LB banner ), im just desapointed... usually buy the montlhy pass, thats the kida shit that makes me stop spendin ANY amount of money and eventually quit, hope that guilds are fun at least... lets go Neo Bahamut!!

I'm also upset. I went looking for the old Limited weps and found nothing. Maybe we can do that report thing again >.> rofl. But regardless I definitely rolled because I love Vincent's character as well. I was able to get his chiron to ob6, and his new gun to ob4. So ill probably be able to make ob6 by the end of the banner. Whats your favourite weapon of his so far? and do you know if guilds get more than 30 members at a time eventually? Also what I like about his costume is that its no limited to physical or magical. So if he gets a physical earth wep in the future, eh could do either reliably.

I don't see the same quality in Vincent at all. The toon model is lifeless and the red eye all seem like low quality to me. But mainly the weapons don't pop for me. And to be clear, I mean only the looks, nothing else.
Hehe my friend, I warned you that Vincent hype seems too artificial (in earlier video). To my surprise, it is actually really, really, REALLY good! Here are the reasons why should people pull (keep in mind that I was expecting not to): 1. The only costume for Vincent! If you plan to use him, you will want one. 2. LB weapon - meaning, magic ALL. If you dont have Zack or Sephi now is your chance! 3. you have GURATEED OB3 in only 2 pages!!! You know that just a copy costs around 60 bucks, now you have +3, 100%. With little bit of luck that is easy OB6. Even if you are not lucky enough 400 parts is not utopia. 4. You have OB1 FREE off hand that compliment your LB weapon! With little luck + 60 Vincent tickets - a great chance to early OB6 or close to it. P.S. On my alt I got OB6 in just 36k crystals!!! I didnt even finish page 2 (I can do OB7 if I want to)
I feel cheated. I skipped every banner waiting for a LB banner. I had planned on leveling up my Seph and Zack, and getting Cloud and Glenn's LB weapons. I hope this doesn't mean that the only way to get copies is when they rerelease their specific banners. I don't want to pull on the same banner twice. They would have so many people rage quit.
I don't want to take Applibot's side as i personally want the LB weapons to be wishlistable asap, but they never mentioned WHEN they will make them wishlistable again in the draw info page. It might be a few months from now or even a year. I do have a feeling they might make the 1st limited batch wishlistable on the 1st anni though.
Well Applibot are a scummy company what do you guys expect? Also if you follow the revenue trend for EC - game is barely making even in last months - they are obviously forced to enforce / incentivize everything they can do to turn around that. I fucking hate this but its reality check for many - if the game doesnt start getting better revenue - it wont last long. So as much as i despise applibot deep inside me, emotions aside, i do kind of practically understand that move....
@@BodhiJMSRyder Well it was a bit of a theorycrafting on my side - if they hauled like 2-2,2 mil USD per month, only payroll for Applibot plus infrastructure costs would be at least 500k? Considering royalties for SE etc - just feels extremely little. Really would be curious to learn how much it costs to run such game though
@damiandelchev9131 I’ll tell you this character models, illustrations and animations are not very expensive. Guessing servers are way more, but I think they are definitely and considerably above their overhead
banners here for basically a month by that time I think we'll have a good idea whats going on. I think the discussion on limit break draws is semantics based, we were never promised the previous pool on a draw every limit break event. That said I do think the year anniversary will be an everything on offer limit break draw.
I'm on Ryder's side on this. Besides which, I find it extremely copium to be like "well they didn't lie when they didn't put past LB weapons on this LB draw, but I fully expect LB weapons to be on the next LB draw". Like, what???? Why would you even think that a) they didn't lie when it's there in black and white and b) when this banner already set a precedent for broken promises? Do you think corporations aren't allowed to lie? They are, and will gleefully do so if the cost/punishment of illegality is outweighed by the profit! MH's premium tickets weren't allowed to be exchanged with normal premium tickets until whales started refunding their purchases en masse and sending in complaint tickets, then they were forced to announce the exchange a day later and then pretended it was what they intended all along (but pepperidge farm remembers and know better). Do not underestimate the unashamed greed of capitalist corporations.

Even if you do summon, i dont see the purpose going page 2 on stamp card honestly. I hope Cid is done better. Im going to wait a few weeks before i make a decision. Its here till Aug 14th
I’m not going to be summoning on this banner for two reasons. 1. I didn’t want Vincent too badly so I don’t mind skipping and waiting for anniversary. 2. This is such HORSE S^*t! I was waiting to get my Zack weapon to OB6 and Seph to OB10.. I agree, they didn’t stick to their word so I’m not going to give them any of my money or virtual currency
im fine with it as long as it doesnt become a habit. To be fair ever crisis has given so much free stuff already its fine if they want to farm some money. Think of all the free tickets, golden tickets etc. its one of the most f2p friendly games out there. let them farm money every now and then its OK
The 60 tickets we got for Vincent, I got 3 5* Vincent Weapons. so I wanted to see how my luck was pulling for the new weapon and costume. I got 2 copies of the weapon and got the costume in 15k!
Man man man soooo friggin disappointed! I’m with you Ryder, having those limit break weapons wishlisted on this limit break banner makes a whole world of sense. I’m on the fence on this banner although it’s looks enticing but for applibot to drop the ball on this banner it’s just utterly insane and a dumb move on their end. Tighten up aplibot!
I need to see how it works all he’s weapons . But I get it. It’s a gatcha game and people need to understand that you guys will have a chance to get better weapons later in the game. Mb this is the fifth weapon for the wishlist? Perhaps we can add just LB weapon to the anniversary wishlist? It's gonna be shit for those who already have atleast one OB10 LB weapon
I went all-in for the pull but I'm quite disappointed that banner is a LB one; a featured banner would have been more than okay, now they're pushing too much on the players' FOMO. On the other hand, I think it would have been too early for the other LB weapons to be obtainable... Maybe during the anniversary, they may re-add them... Again, for the anniversary, I'm a bit afraid that it will be lackluster, for example, I remember the 1st anniversary of Genshin Impact and oh boy was it a disaster (because they basically offered nothing aside from a concert, but no ingame stuff), they got review bombed so hard. Hope EC doesn't suffer the same fate, it is avoidable ! Also I just noticed, the shiny icon for the banner is missing, as if it wasn't meant to be a LB banner ?
I'm not really sure about the shiny icon for the banner. I dont think it was originally meant to be a LB draw banner. I think this was a last minute choice. It makes no sense honestly. We deserve more clarity from Applibot!
send a complain ticket, threaten legal action because they misled everyone who pulled the last limit break draw. as much as I love the costume and weapon, I'm not sure if I should pull. but I think the best decision is to wait till near the end and see if there's something better coming in early August. anyway, everyone should send a complaint ticket to voice their opinion, better than ranting in videos that devs won't even watch or care.
I don't think I will pull on this banner. Recently I have been feeling like I want to stop pulling on limited banners just for the fact that we can't wishlist them later (at least no info about it). I quite disappointed this Vincent's first banner was also limited.
Yeah, but still, in my opinion, its still just as shady. They insinuated that we would be able to, and just because they weren't openly clear about it, doesn't make it any less lame on their part. Technically we are in a business agreement with them, and i think they owe it to us to be forthright about how their banners work. We should know if LB draw weapons will appear on future ones or not, plain or simple, that's not a lot to ask imo, don't you think?
Everytime I read their notices, I'm pretty convinced that they don't use proper english translator. At least not a native English. It really read like a direct translate from the japanese version by some kind of auto-translation apps, eventhough it's not as broken as google translate result.
Couldn't agree more! The poor translation leaves a lot to be desired and yeah a limited draw on character release is beyond shady. I'm so torn as part of me is tempted to whale as the outfit is great although if you haven't seen the large Vincent pack only has 100 weapon parts, the other 100 is changed to 70 memory fragments that a whale really needs..... Gonna try to wait a few days and think before acting
