Now that we have news in game about the End of Service (Oct 30, 2024) the admins of the global Facebook group have a message for you about what comes next. #ffbe #ffbe_en #ffbeglobal
I knew it wasn't far off.. I'm sorry to those of yall still playing. And while I was around it was a blast to play with you guys. This isn't the end after all it was the friendships we made that made ffbe so much more enjoyable this is the end of an era and the begining of another there are so many more games out there I hope to see you guys in the future.
I think I was told or I heard from somewhere, but, Last Cloudia didn't quite made it in over, 1 year post its release, and they were on the verge of EoS so early. But on the requests and many plights of the players and fans, the game had been saved from it by the server merge, not once, but twice. Can FFBE even hope for such miracle?
Quite sad to be saying goodbye. A close friend and I have been on the game for years, and somehow neither of us received the new Esther for whatever reason. Big surprise. Thanks for all the good times
Shout out to Elytra(?) for cultivating native flora. I've been unintentionally doing the same, but learned and appreciated a bunch of what pops up in my yard. Particularly the violets in early srping. And EmK since I'm in SoC too. If she had dropped her Guild name, I might have considered jumping over in a couple days. Now for the important point of contention. 3.5 is overrated, 4E is better than people realized and give credit to. I grew up on AD&D 1st edition (which is arguably the third edition if you include Chainmail and original D&D), I was there when GenCon was actually GenCon because it was held in Lake *Geneva* WI. 3rd edition was basically playtested at the end of 2nd, which is what I actually played most. It was more of the same, except it cut out a bunch of Dark Sun, Dragonlance and Ravenloft stuff and changed a bunch of other stuff. I will say going Open License and adding a bunch of other settings was a bit of a high point. But it still had terrible late-game rules for fighter templates, and around magical items and running item creators. Very undercooked to say the least. 4th Edition, while very different and a little bit more of a shock for people who learned to love 3E and 3.5E, was actually incredibly solid. Fighters actually had roles and skills beyond literally standing there and taking AoE damage, Thieves were more than just lock-pickers, and the rules were more simple and accessible for newer players, and everything was easier to put on a grid, which is where the game originated from and could never get away from for people trying to run it entirely in the theater of the mind. 4E actually got me to get over my burn out and buy books again after 25 years of AD&D. 3rd and 5th and Pathfinder did not. it's weird that a lot of Gen X thought 4th was a breath of fresh air, while elder Millennials rejected it completely. F-ing kids. Not a Facebooker, but thanks for putting this together Gerrtt, it was nice to hear.
@@gerrtt84 I honestly forgot to comment on this when it came out because I was watching it on my tv while playing on my Chromebook and just now realized I never commented on the video
I know it’s a long shot, but after 8 years, they’ve worked out so many bugs and added a ton of quality of life tweets that I would be 100% down for an FFBE2 😁
Gave a follow over on your twitch, feels wrong just to say "bye" to the Mog Team, when you folks helped keep me engaged. Thank you so much for all the hard work. If anyone else has twitches or socials, I would to follow and support everyone's future endeavors!
Same, quick question: did you manage to get Fencer? I only managed to pull Theif and Juggler...btw there has to be a way to play Final Fantasy Brave Exvius offline, all the data is located on our phones anyways. Maybe rewrite code that searches for servers; it was like an auto save feature. We just need a mockable server or rewrite code to a different server? 😢😫 Man the game kept getting better with QoL changes, FFBE has progressed so far. I thought when FFXVI units were released I thought that would mean that FFBE is not going away... 😢
Still hoping to get an FFBE music box from the dev even if this is pretty much not possible.. Thank you Mog Team for making the community peaceful,, best game community ive been in tbh, love you guys and will surely miss you guys handling the community 🥹
I always appreciated you and the other guide/content creators over the years. Just to name a few without emphasis: Claic, meetmeonmars, Josh Gacha (as he is now known) and of course the discord and Facebook leaders and lurkers. Obviously sinzar, all his guests and Sarte. Thank you all for the coverage and work throughout the years. Would not have enjoyed the game nearly as much as I did without all of you.
Yes here here Meetmeonmars, Claic Evil laughter Dan t Howlzz Our boy Dyer even (yoyoyo) Deus gaming And of course Sartre , Sinzar, Gerrt Cray Cray we appreciate all of you! 🙏
This game was amazing for a long time. I started I think 4 or 5 mouths latter but I was a FF series player (hard at FF VII, FF VIII and FF X with saves over 200 hours of game). I remember at the beginning of the game when I just beat trials because Claic, EvilLaughter strategies, after that Meetmeonmars (the first Marlboro trial with ang strategy), and now you Gerrtt, Sinzar, Sarte, Kamikiro and so on. It will be strange after Oct 30th. I tryed Oppera Ominia, WOTV, but quit that and back to only FFBE.
Thanks to you all! I've been on the FB page a couple of time and i know people were working hard to create this community i still feel ive been a part of, as a player at least. Im kinda sad everything will be gone in 2 months. At least now, ill be able to complète all the remaining trials in time, with the best units. Have a great life post-FFBE!
Loved going to the unit list and check each of their animations. Most of them have small details that really bring out the character personality. I joined fairly recently, but loved the collaborations, descriptions of each unit, animations and all of that. And finding this community was something special as well. Everyone is always happy to lend a hand, explain stuff and overall make the experience extremely positive for me. Thanks to the game for some great time and thanks to this community for being really welcoming. Hope you have a great one!
I fully believe that the supportive nature of the Facebook community really sustained FFBE. Many other similar games came and went, while FFBE persisted, in large part due to the folks here. Was wonderful to meet you all at the fan fests. All the best in the future
Thanks for doing this Gerrtt84. I’ll truly miss the camaraderie with the FB Global group. This is the greatest gaming community I’ve ever been apart of. I will forever cherish the memories of everything we’ve shared the last 8 years. Much love to all of you Kupo’s! 🖤🖤🖤
With all the ups and downs of the game, leaving and coming back, seeing the downturn and knowing this would eventually happen... none of that matters. What matters is the friends we made along the way. I hope this family continues on to another game, or even just stays in touch over the years. Love you all!
I'm not following any groups, I'm just a youtube lurker but I gotta say that the community is definitely the main strength of this game and if there was any doubt, just watch this video... It's a very sad day, we did prepare for the impact but nothing could prepare us for the pain. Really appreciate what you have done, the bege carpets were some of the best things out there related to this game. Your budget-ish clears were really helpful, I even got to have 2 rank ones by taking notes from your clears, all basically this was a channel made to help newer players, how can you not love that? Wish you all the best, you deserve that. For the future, I'm also giving a chance to that convalaria game, so far looks interesting, but nothing will ever be the same as ffbe. All the best for you all
I started the game when it first launched. Spent so much money (10k+ in 4 years) that I though the only way to stop spending money (and the frustration of not being able to get my favourite characters, pity wasn't a thing then) was to do these cheating injections which lead to me getting banned. I was in withdrawal for a month but after that, it got over it.... then I decided to pick the game up during Covid, started from scratch, caught up really quickly by spending a shitload of money, played for 2 years, then stopped again. I came back one last time this April after 2 years of not playing, also spent a shitload of money, pulled for EX3 on all banners that came out and now I can finally end my love hate relationship with the game:) Best of luck to all fans. It may be hard now, but it'll get easier very quickly. Don't start other gatcha games:) I appreciated your video:) and your quick replies. thanks man!
Honestly thank you all. Its been great to virtually connect iwth everyone, learn, laugh, have fun. Few games actually connect people or put faces to gamers and this has been cool and Ive been able to travel around the world while still playing and seeing everyone.
I feel very sad that this game had to go the same fate as DFF: OO. Both were the only FF games I had on my phone and the ones that gave me the most screen time. I may not be a day 1 player like everyone else, but I’m grateful to spend these past 2 years playing this game, despite its ups and downs. There were some moments that I like about the game, and that is pulling for the characters I have been wanting and also the CGI animations when the units do their limit burst. Thank you to everyone.
Really appreciate you guys taking the time to do this. Doing my best to stop the water works 🥲 Also, at @38:15 , this is so true. EmK is a treasure. Heck, you're all treasures.
As a retired veteran, i played this game through 2016 until 2022. The reason that i retired of the game, was literally time... i really enjoyed this game for years, i was f2p but... i had all the banners and other characters that interest me... my favourite part of playing this one was the chalenges of the other series events, it was a lots of fun...and well its time to say good bye, i looked at my account for one last time, it was harsh. All i can say is: thank you guys for everything, i reflected a lot about this. Well what can i say now, i goona miss mah boy rain my mate laswell 2b, a2, esther... bro well i was typing i reminded my first comp. Well hope you guys deal with the end of a era ... take care, and please don't miss the good memmories.
cant say i really have any fond memories of ffbe my two most stand out memories are of either rage and/or disappointment those being dolphining out the first week and failing to get wol and the whole akstar/zeno debacle i was a day one everyday player up until that point but i was already extremely frustrated with the game up until that point and the delay of akstar and eventual reveal of zeno was the boiling point that caused me to quit and play only during anniversaries so yeah really dont have any fond memories of ffbe lol
High: Sprite art and crushing big damage numbers Low: Everytime they shit on real FF games (which was a lot) I dont discord but I have done maintenance threads for over 4 years at gamefaqs as that forum empties out so I kind of get it. I'm pretty sure MKUltra was on that list at some point.
Man, this feels surreal to see it come to a close. It was my first ever gacha game and ill never forget getting hyped over OG 5* onion knight having dual wield and thinking it was OP lol. It was great to be a part of this group and game with you, other Garrett!
That Barry[?] guy talking about how much he loves the lore. Everyone in the Discord I'm in don't give a fuck about FFBE lore, and I love it. FF is my favorite thing, so I'm biased to FF games. But if I knew that I would have been in there chatting with him all the time about what was happening in the story.
I stopped playing FFBE a bit into Neo Visions. I was trying to get NV Starlight Elena and there was no pity system. I went through all 70K that I had stored up and it just broke me. Before that though, the game was super fun and I played everyday. I'm glad that this community existed for people and it sounds like it worked really well. Good luck to everyone wherever you end up!
i love FFBE ....and will always do.....this game has been with me all the ups and downs, joy and tear. Just too much to let go. Thank you Gertt, Sinzar and other FFBE content creators, you guys are simply awesome. We shall meet some times and some where in other FFBE universe, love you all❤
The so many problem on Global version about fb login issues & they accidentally give lapis to all players, that time FFBE starts downfall with everything was skip
