Was in the same boat, used Esther discharge and recharge to dispel the heal down on turn 1 and was able to complete rank 1 with ex 1 Melissa. Thanks for the great strategy!
Try to make it, but I miss some damage at turn 4 (2B4). I will try again. Just one question, if we need a bit more can we use magic boost at Golbez or/and Olive? Edit: Success with Hateful agent on Golbi & Olive, thx for the top 1 :)
Not sure, Olive's counter is the strongest of everyone and allows me to reliably push the threshold on T6 from as far out as 54%. Ibara doesn't have any kind of special normal attack so you'll lose a significant amount of damage. If you're able to whittle the boss down to 51% on T6 before the counters you may still be able to pull it off, tho.
You can, but you'd be better off keeping Golbez and putting Newbara in place of 2B. Golbez should get the 550% MAG Leader Skill bonus, thus would fare much better, plus he brings the bigger dark imperil. Makes more sense to take out 2B, imo. You'll just have to adjust Melissa's actions a little bit on Turns 3 and 6 because without 2B Esther will likely have the highest ATK and will provoke the ST physicals. So on Turn 3 Melissa will use the 1-turn enemy dark imbue with dark absorb so Esther doesn't take any damage, and on Turn 6 Melissa uses the 3-turn imbue/absorb. Just make sure Esther isn't completely dark resistant or else she won't counter.
You probably don't even need the DV sword with Ibara on the team. I imagine Ibara's Leader Skill will make up for a weaker weapon. Any 2-handed high mag sword should work, even the free one from Item World (Jester's Claymore, upgraded).
@@liang_se well idk if with this specific team mesllisa if the key unit here since using golblez you lose out on lot of morale fill without her alps her buff and dark absorb
The only real replacement for Melissa in this CoW in the new Ibara. You could put Cressnik in Melissa's spot for the morale fill and then put Ibara in 2B's place. Or you could try just putting Ibara in Melissa's spot and keeping 2B for extra damage. Ibara's damage should be enough to carry you, tho. I can't tell you what the rotation would look like since I don't have her. You'll just have to figure that out on your own.
