It shouldn't have any effect on provoke or the boss countering. The only thing that will make the boss counter with a party wipe move is if you forget to hit it with water or light element every turn.
Hey, i have roughly the same setup as you ( not quite tho, i use ang, celeste, hyoh, abigail ) My one and only problem, or so it seems, is that my provoke tank ( sylvie ) keep dying every god damnturn, even tho i keep close attention to having little to no down time in 75/80 phys damage reduction, human and beast phys damage reduction, general mitigation, and water/light res ( close to 300 on both at base, i alway have something between a 70 to 100% res buff and i remove the imperil on team as often as possible Even after looking at the wini, i can't understand how sometime, i get obliterated, and sometimes i don't, it's frustrating Other wise, pretty good explanation of the whole thing, managed a 1Mil score, looking to get more, but seems difficult with my team being at risk every turn
Yeah, this boss hits like a truck, which is why imbuing the boss with Melissa is almost a requirement to survive all those ST physicals. Making her 100% evade and using accuracy down wih Kaito seems to help a little, but boss probably has 100% accuracy so will still hit 50% of the time.
