I like this math focused video, there are many uncleare stuff in WOTV, this is what I want to understand the most, stats conversion like 2.5 Luck = 1 Evasion, please doc do another one about all the other stats and maybe another one on visions like for Mediana magic+15 is it better or not than ice+15 and espers with the eaters and the killers in terms of dmg conversion. Edit: also need more informations about the cap of crit, crit dmg, ... etc :)
+15 magic will likely be better because drain bio and flare are non-elementals +15 flat added to a type or an element is basicaly a 15% added damage AFTER defense mitigation
+BaseStats% is way better than +StatEffect. +1% Luck is always better than +1 Evasion due to the fact that Luck also adds accuracy. Also theres bonus +1 to statEffect per +9 BaseStats thats why sometimes you get +3 eva on this unit and sometimes you get +4 eva. Now that Evasion Meta is released, its way more beneficial to stackup on +Luck% and +Dex%. Long awaited holiday adds +dex% which is totally awesome on long range gun/bow attack units since dex adds tons of long range damage

Great video. Bit of a nitpick - can you check math on your Birth of a New Life table? Looking to understand if it's a straight 21pct of the base luck stat or if there's something else at play? (e.g. +21% of base LCK 170 is +35.7 LCK, not 39.7 as you have it in video.)
Thanks Diggs. Did you check if the conversion is linear without fall off? Like is it still 2.5:1 if you increase it by ... a very large luck amount? Or is it possible that it's a diminishing return?
yeah sometimes luck can outpace any other stats for both crit chance and evasion, my fred with her 84 agility+180 luck+shiva card (4/5 stars lvl 79)+shiva esper( 2 stars lvl 78, 100% resonance)+xiza TMR+reflex reaction definetely feel like a cheap shot, in pvp only 100% hit still like aim or holy hit me, dodging with MC hammer song rolling in the background
is there an accuracy guide somewhere as the counter to this? I'd love to know how much minimum dex is needed to nullify an evade team build, or likewise, how much evade can be nullified by a dex build.
This was amazing! Thank you for this breakdown. Subscribed. I'm a new player and don't want to spend yet as I've no idea if I'm gonna play this game beyond the 'honeymoon period'. Fortunately I got lucky with kitone and pulled a lot of her but I had no idea how to use her evasion and didn't even know that another stat like luck could fully make up for evasion. And neither do I have "Shiva" so my kitone kept dying on me. But having watched this, I've decided to go with "birth of new life". Btw can Mediena also benefit from this card? as a glass cannon/evasion build. Since she dies in one to two hits anyways, I'm planning to go full attack with mag up and shadow runner. Also, will that counter trigger even when she evades an attack?
Honest question, when you tested the Luck cards did you take in to consideration your party affinity? Affinity can buff dex/luck etc. You mentioned 20 LUK is about 8 EVA and I think it's more around 16 LUK is 8 EVA. Yes. It's possible to test with a flat +10LCK so party affinity would not effect the % hit rate. The guide from Hadecynn also states that 2LCK = 1 EVA which I think is wrong. However as I noted I did notice atleast one exception of +10LCK being 3% EVA not 4%. So if anything it could potentially be variable by Class like DEX but there's no way to prove it atm.
Luck is also dmg its accuracy so long holiday is the only way your going to win if your dodge vs dodge. Or else is just a dodge fest back to getting a lucky one punch
Great Video!! Question, in a 3 person team- would you recommend a maxed out birth of love, or my level 55 ramza card for overall agility? My other two cards are vow of love on my tank, and a maxed out Leo is castle card on mediena for survivability

Very useful info !! Now does anyone knows the math for Accuracy? I see on the Sheet for instance that CiD have 108 eva naturally, and that is enough to 0% evade against anyone on max lvl due to their Acc, so when you put him with the sage hat+2 you get 21 points of eva, but does that mean that on the field he would have 78% of getting hit against a same lvl foe or probably more? If I add luck%20 he would get around 8 points of eva, would that bring him to 70% of getting hit ? (and after using Illusion 45%). just wondering... if anyone knows a simply way to put it, please let me know. Cheers
