Nice. That is such an effective use of a true slip float and stopper knot, and most people don't get it. I use 20# fly line backing, and a Duncan knot for my stopper. Tight lines

That’s a good cold clear water technique. Just a upsized crappie rig.

I’ll definitely have to try this. It will be short lived unless I have quick success beings I like to power fish. Probably will work for trout also.

I saw them demonstrate this technique in the tank at the ISE Show. It looked pretty good and they caught fish as you did. I also picked up both of the Double Buzz Baits, some Split Blade Spinner Baits, and The Copperhead. Can’t wait to test them on the water.

I've got to try this out. My son ties flies so i'll give a request for some bassie looking flies.

I see why it work so well. Before this, I can't tell cause I am a bank fisherman.

I usually drag a Carolina Rig with a hellgrammite bait to entice a bite in the cooler months, but have yet to try a float rig like this.

Good method to use when you're about to give up on the day and you take a 20 minute break to contemplate going home! 😅
