"They shall be slashed, strangled, and slaughtered. Beaten, stabbed, and crushed. Garroted and impaled. Shot and executed without mercy." *Pulls out his swords* "LET THE HUNT BEGIN!"
To be completely blunt, Hamauzu composed Dirge's soundtrack before XIII started production, so his later works have a bit of Dirge in them. Check out his pieces for the Dirge of Cerberus multiplayer, most don't even know of it, but really should.
I did not care for 13 at all. The only two things that I remember fondly is the monster design and the 10/10 music. To be fair, he also worked on FFX and that was just as amazing. But this damn song is so entrancing its ridiculous, like there's something at play right beneath the surface but we can't know what it is, only that its there. Because that's what it wants and when its time, we will finally figure it out and we will regret it.
It was pretty surprised and weird that they brought him back, even though he's not really popular and most of his screentime, he was possessed by Hojo until near the end.
It feels setup so Vincent's main focus will be Hojo/Weiss and Yuffie get's Nero who has taken Sonon's body (And the Wutai arc has been built up far more so Yuffie and Zack will star there) their going to get a lot of cool stuff to do.
“They shall be slashed, strangled, and slaughtered. Beaten, stabbed, and crushed. Garroted and impaled. Shot and executed without mercy.” I kept getting murdered by Weiss but his opening dialogue they took from DoC made it bearable in a messed up way lol.
I just love the grandiose and large orchestra sound that hamauzu always brings, along with the strings and snare to give it that strategic vibe. Love it!
"So this is what's possible when you transcend the flesh?" "Good to know." hmhmhmhm(hahahaha) Hahahahaha(hahahaha) "Either way, see you in Deepground." Hahahahaha
Many have come close in my opinion. Persona... Dark Souls... Legend of Zelda and so on... Heck, even games by Mihoyo but FF simply remains unbeatable and is still the King in my book.
I agree. It reminds me in a way of some of the Game's songs. I'm getting the same vibe. Man I miss playing that game on the PS2. Should sometime again.
@@budakbaongsiah True. Just a rendition like normal. They seem to do that with several. Some are good and others nope. I have to admit that this rendition is pretty good.
@@ayakotami3318 i love Dirge of Cereberus. Now i realized that the composer of this songs is the same composer of Dirge of Cerberus, that explains a lot
This sounds SO much like Saber's Edge from Final Fantasy XIII it's uncanny. Obviously they're both Hamauzu but it was refreshing to hear this style in VII Remake
> pick tifa with parry materia > mash two buttons at once to give aerith a distance to cast haste(ga) > when pressured, use cloud's focused thrust > reach phase 2 > honestly have no idea how to stagger him fast > starts reducing his stagger > phase shift > o_shite.mp3 > *IMMACULATE END* > die > repeat What am i doing wrong?
During the "honestly have no idea how to stagger him fast", spamm blizzaga to build the stagger gauge after he finish an attack. When he staggered, unleash all the limits/attacks/blizzaga you can deal before he recover (switch to Cloud during this moment as well)
Anyone who like this song needs to look up the original version “The Immaculate” by Masashi Hamauzu performed by Tokyo Symphony Orchestra for Dirge of Cerberus. 10x for powerful!!
Hamauzu is one of the main composer of the VII Remake soundtrack and on top of that is the original composer of the Dirge of Cerberus soundtrack this theme actually comes from, so yeah :P
Perhaps the best secret boss of this DLC, with a beautiful soundtrack. The Ubris Prototypes are nothing compared, maybe only Sephiroth on Hard difficulty. It is very likely that he will return in Rebirth
@@zed_infinity Well, I arranged One-Winged Angel Rebirth for church organ months ago and it got only 913 views... I will focus on FFVI tracks now, but I intend to arrange more FFVII tracks for sure :)
Who would win? A replica of an absolute master swords and gunsman capable of sliding opponents in milliseconds. Or Some Bartender girl that throws hands
i missed him and nero. as a kid, when I played crisis core, i didn't know that near the end, the two men carrying off genesis, were in fact nero and weiss. strangely enough, they were wearing suits like the Turks do. I imagine they must look very funny in suits. anyways, after playing crisis core and dirge of cerberus but missing out on the original, I wanted to get the original experience with updated graphics and all. safe to say, I did not get what I wanted. :) But the addition of Weiss and Nero is nice so I'll be looking forward to rebirth. No I have not looked up any spoilers. I'll find out how bad it's this time.
Ruby: hey Weiss Weiss/ff Weiss: yes? Weiss schnee: wait WHO ARE YOU Weiss grimoire: which one of you hussies, called upon me. Ruby: three Weisses! :D *meanwhile blake, yang, Vincent, brother nier and father nier, kaine and emil, yonah watch* Kaine: weird shit. Tyrann: AHAHAHA this is just great!!!
@@chaolihai-innit I feel that, with how INTERmission ended, Yuffie will be tormented by Nero and will be an overarching enemy for her to deal with, either through confrontation or through trauma. Scarlet summoned Deepground soldiers in front of Yuffie, and she knows of their existence, it wouldn't get swept under the rug. The story of DoC will be implemented, or at least elements from it will be sprinkled through the next instalments.
@@goldc9595 I know this is a bit late but I actually have a theory. When the revisit to Midgar happens in the Remake's story, Scarlet will most likely send Deepground to deal with everybody since she knows that basic troopers/SOLDIERs/Machines won't be enough. At that point, Yuffie breaks off from the party or she is forced to be on your team for this section where you will end up fighting Nero once again so Yuffie can finally get her revenge. ...Either that or there's gonna be a whole DoC remake where Yuffie and Vincent deal with Nero together but that seems far less likely to me.
