With Patch 6.4, some changes were added to Warrior: -> Vengeance is now a single buff rather than two, combining both the Damage Reduction and the counter attacking buffs into one. -> Storm's Path/Eye potency: 430 -> 440 at level 84. -> Fell Cleave potency: 490 -> 520. -> Upheaval potency: 370 -> 400. -> Inner Chaos potency: 650 -> 660. -> Shake It Off now has a 30 yalm radius, so it is very likely you will always hit the whole party! Here are any significant differences introduced with patch 6.30: * Defiance now changes into "Release Defiance" when it is active, turning into a blue button that does... Literally the same thing as the button always did. This is just a visual change to more clearly indicate that pressing the button again will remove the buff. * LEVEL 68: Shake It Off now comes out the box with a healing over time component that heals everyone affected for 100 Potency every 3 seconds for 15 seconds. This does not really change how you should use the action, however, the advice given at level 76 about using it when the party needs healing just becomes more significant.

It's lucky fell cleave feels so good to do considering how many you do. Decimate doesn't feel as good as chaotic cyclone IMO though, I just don't like that long wind-up animation.

I main GNB, so it's very nice that direct hit has an effect for WAR now. If I'm running expert roulette I'm running it as WAR, so it's nice to have SOME benefit out of my almost-exclusively-dhit melds.

Yes decimate is really strange just in general, too! I am not sure if it still the case but I seem to recall that it used to be that the circle AoE of decimate centered slightly in front of you like the animation, which sometimes would cause you to miss targets slightly behind you 😅 The fact that warrior can use the same stats all the other tanks use now is also awesome, especially with how the tanks that previously have been super picky on skill speed also turning out to be more flexible too 😊

@@CaetsuChaijiCh YEP! It really makes hitting those stat tiers across the tanks easier to manage with one set. I'm really glad to hear it'll be easier to do multiple weapons for the relic quest because I really do like being able to pick between jobs depending on the content I'm queing for.

Hello! Newer player here, working my way through Heavensward (60 atm) and stumbled upon this awesome guide.I have a question regarding the opening rotations: I noticed that throughout them, there's multiple parts where you only use GCDs since the oGCDs were already used or show up at a different point in the rotation, so, would moments like those be good for weaving in defensive cooldowns?

If you need a defensive cooldown, they take priority over other ogcds since if you need it, postponing them can mean you die which is worse. Planning defensives so you don't get surprised with it is a good idea. Sure, the downtime where you have no offensive ogcds is a very convenient time to weave defensive! 😊 But ultimately, defensives should be the highest priority should they be needed. To give an example, if you are pulling big and need to use a defensive during the period where you might want to use berserk / infuriate, well then defensives take priority and maybe you can use berserk alongside the defensive, or maybe you need two defensives. It depends, but the defensives are crucial! 😊 Hope this helps!
