Making Torgal turn his head to his right like some smug villain as Ul'dah gets blown up was well done. I also appreciate the variety of weapons used in this short.
I swear, every time I find a new animation using this bit, it's like watching it for the first time all over again. Though admittedly, this is probably the best one I've seen, even if mostly for the wolf just kind of standing there -menacingly- unresponsive!
This is so good. The editing really made it so much better. The timelapse at "this went on for several hours" and the 🤫 at "that's my secret weapon" were my favourite parts.
Needless to say; missed. I already loved this clip but watching it with FFXIV and it being so being so expertly done.. the highlander emotes really fit so well adfsggfd
I don't really like the Game Grumps (not my style of humor), but my roommate does, so I showed this to her. She promptly showed this to several discord servers while dying of laughter. Also, I can partially quote this now, thanks to this video.
I know the face options are kinda limited in the character creator, but the fact that the dude with the gun looks damn near EXACTLY like my character, who is also a Machinist, is really messing with me.
it looks like the hat, coat, legs, and feet are the Endwalker artifact armor...I think the gloves are either Stormblood or Shadowbringers' armor? I'm not exactly sure on that, though...Oh, and the weapon is the first-step Endwalker MCH relic! Edit: Hat might actually be Shadowbringers artifact armor! I know I'm not OP but hope I helped!
How is this the first time ive seen a game grumps animation using ff14? It feels like it should be a perfect combination, so why is it not done more often?
Honestly it might just be the limitations of what you can actually do within the game even with addons. I don't think many of their bits could translate well to XIV
Good I love that bit so much from the boys, am a bit sad you didn't adding the part about going to the fridge to get another popcicle, my personal favorite of the whole bit. But, still was an entertaining video.
What scares me the most about this, is how close that MCH looks to my own character. Stick some fake eyebrows on there, and I'd probably be questioning my own sanity.
