@@cereyza But I move my Limit Break bar to the middle of the screen so I can keep track of it easier. It's just easier to switch HUD layouts than move it every time I want to queue for one or the other. And, now that I've seen it in the video, I'm also going to make the buffs/debuffs larger, since I don't need them the same size for PVE.

I gotta try this when I get home! I've been wondering if there's a way to move up and down the enemy list the same way you can move through your party list but the best I found was left/right on the Dpad which is pretty unreliable since it's based on world position, not list position. I never thought to try L1+dpad because I know R1+dpad changes your crossbar and just assumed L1 would do the same. This is so incredibly useful. Thank you!

Dude I tried this and although you can target with L1, pressing a button on them doesn't work?! I get an error message and my buttons are X'd out as if out of rage even when standing right in front of them

@@jonh4872 pressing the face buttons while holding L1 will change the target filters (I think this can be turned off?) be careful about this, you have to hold L1, use dpad to soft target. Just taking a guess on what is happening. It’s still something not easy to get use to doing in the heat of the moment

Same here xd That was one of the first things I said, when I saw that pvp. Much more complicated with controller. So often I just cant targe't someone quick enough :')

try L1+up/down. still sucks if you want to target 3rd person in the list but it is better than all other options

@@aeravan problem with doing that in a mosh pit and not bring able to tell who the heck you are hitting makes it better to roll through tap targeting instead

its also under the 'HUD' configuration, when you toggle to 'Duty' - when you are in the Crystalline Conflict game. you can do it during the warm-up, before the game officially starts.

Keep at it! I was stuck in bronze purgatory for hours and hours, but all it takes is a hot streak to burst your way through to silver. Just keep practicing your job, or maybe try a different one! Good luck!

@@manwithnoname4346 thank you for the positivity :) i tried DRG instead of my usual WAR and it's already way more fun. Don't get me wrong, i think Crystalline Conflict is amazing, i was just frustrated cause i am loosing 90% of my games

@@dio7288 Switching up jobs really helps because PVP just plays differently than PVE. Something that clicked for one job, might not click for the other. Also, like others said, getting a little winning streak helps because you get bonus stars during a streak. I think after your 3rd win in a row, you get a bonus star each time.

If you have it at 87% and the best your enemy did was 8%, it should be pretty hard to lose overtime. They'd have to push it all the way back to 88% to win. You just need to stay in the circle for 3 seconds without any enemies. And yeah, you're extremely disadvantaged if you are the lower scoring team in OT but that's kinda the point. You were doing worse so you have to really step it up to win.

@@AdamRoss30 nah they should have just calculated who has more push % and declare a winner when the timer runs out, only goes into overtime if the push % similar. Though it seem those who get the initial higher push % have the upper hand , but by the time you're in overtime the respawn time is longer and given how if you're near enemy spawn zone as attacker you have added disadvantage if you die it will take a long while to regroup and reorganized properly and run back to the crystal (which isn't the case as everyone would just rush in back to the crystal hence making it 1-2 v 5 ) but as for the defender you can easily reorganized and push since it's near your base and all it takes to win is push 0.01% more then how much you've pushed thus far to win Which is stupid.

@@SlowRkers If you're the higher scoring team in OT and you don't take the time to regroup, that's on you. You have all the time in the world. The lower scoring team has no time to regroup like you claim because 3 seconds of nobody in that circle and they lose. Doesn't matter that they're right next to the spawn point. They have to push harder.

Ignoring the fact their spawn base is literally nearby, they literally have advantage as they literally need only 1 person to hold the fort and their whole team respawn and reach the crystal in less then 2 seconds from their base. Plus since when the attackers have all the time in the world?? Lmao respawn itself takes 14 seconds sure wait for everyone to respawn that would be 1min already worst case by then the game would be over already, not even taking the time to run to disrupt the crystal. Dude do you even play CC?

@@SlowRkers yeah, but I'm not sure you do. 1v5 hold the fort, sure... It takes 3 seconds no matter where the crystal is for higher scoring team to win. They can wait until you bring the crystal to them if they want. Just don't let it go over their score (80 something in your example). If you're entire team is taking 14+ seconds each to respawn, maybe you're dying too much lol. I dunno how your teams play, but I've won far more games in OT as the higher scoring team. It's way easier to hold the crystal for 3 seconds than it is to push all the way to the opposite side.

"You get to whatever rank through luck" Now that's just a scrubquote. The odds are literally in your favor as you get 4 random players on your team and 5 on the other. If you really are doing better than the average player than over long term rather than a few matches, you would be rising in rank. Please no more scrub quotes

@@Sylian- complete bull, there's no fricken balance in match making, if you had any common sense you'd know that. Golds with Bronze? Hello ? I can finish matches quite well with most kills and no deaths whilst maintaining high objective time. But that doesn't make up for the rest of the team composition being unranked or bronze players without experience. Take your scrub comments to the trash

@@DJMegumi get good Maths don't care for your feelings. If you're doing bad, don't blame your team, just get better. The odds are literally factually on your side. If you really are better then no matter of what you are saying, the odds are in your favor. As the opposite team can also get all these types of player. Except it is 5 random players instead of 4. Sure it will be volatile if you barely do any but short term never matters, it's all about long term.

@@Sylian- You are a uneducated... In a game less susceptible to the server eating your inputs I would agree, but zerg rushing isn't as easy to counter as that. I dealt and worked with the server ping a lot previously in pve content, but in PVP it really shows its problems in a lot of encounters. People would still die, you'd just have to actually mitigate also and it would be based on skill of the class vs just literally spamming cc every 15s and then going unga dunga on people. The Purify buff is meant to solve the problem it's actually instigating by its design. You're supposed to be able to stop an INITIAL onslaught of cc, and/or be able to punish/escape a single target encounter. What we're at right now is a purify that half the time doesn't appear to work on things like Silence despite saying it does, I don't know if I've ever seen the "buff" for immunity on my bar, and a Guard that depending on input could proc after you're already almost dead. Everyone having purify but it giving 5s of immunity but being on the same-ish cooldown just means that the fights will go fast but be actual fights, instead of spending half my time going "Welp I got stunned once this is over." This is also an issue because some classes have a ton of CC and some just have....literally none. So you can't even properly punish in the exchange. CC isn't tied to specific roles or balanced around specific fighting styles, so that too is a moot point. Then if take into account some classes like WAR and WHM LB (which is up often and instant) have AOE equivalents when some don't even have single targets that's not skill securing you a kill, that's just having the bigger stick at all times. In order to have balanced encounters you can't just say "Fights would take longer if we couldn't stun lock them" we should ask how the stunlock became so easy to be meta and why every class doesn't have more cc and/or at least a single use of CC in their kit. The question is always If > Then If the only thing keeping matches short is stunlocking/bad purify timing and server ping, then why is that being encouraged? CC should "secure" a kill not be its primary method of doing so imo. If other classes don't have that (and some don't) then it becomes laughably unbalanced.

@@DJMegumi Nice copy pasta. I'll simplify it for you. You are the consistent variable, your team has 4 unknown players, the opposite 5. In hundreds of matches, if you are consistently losing then I'm sorry to break it to you but you are the problem and you will keep sucking as long as you have that scrub mentality lol It's the same thing in any team games and scrubs have to learn someday, hopefully you will too.
