FFXIV Dawntrail FINAL BOSS FIRST RUN REACTION 

Did anyone else notice something similar to the Azem Symbol on top of the Dimension Key in the last cutscene before the trial opens?

The key... it's azem's making... The goblet of Azem.

My group immediately wiped from the first suction, which we learned is an insta-kill if you get pulled in

The Azem symbol on the Key/Cup is so interesting, since it implies that Azem was doing stuff for a LONG TIME after the Sundering. I wonder if Azem was in the process of trying to do a Rejoining but without causing calamity. Or were they actively fighting against the Rejoining, and was trying to find safe harbor for the Shards, especially after the creation of the Void. It implies that during Alexandrias destruction, that someone came and helped them escape. One thing thats always made me wonder, is that we start the game on the cart. We arent from a town, we arent from anywhere, we just show up. So is it possible Azem was whole for a long time, but eventually got split. Is the "Key" actually auracite? Does that mean Azem is in there, or that when auracite is used, it doesnt just absorb the entire person, but instead splits them? Is auracite a substance that is also "Sundered" and so anything put within it that is not, becomes so? Alot of weird stuff nevertheless, but im glad theyre telling us they arent done with Azem

FInished it today. They cooked so hard with these dungeons and trials, All top tier for me

Endsinger was much more interesting Story-wise but I like this Boss bc her mechanics are cool and unique.

I loved this boss, super fun and cool. atleast until Wok Lameass showed up.

Sheesh. Seems like I made the right call to skip on Dawntrail. This Wuk Lamat VA would drive me to play in another language, also the whole setup of Dawntrail seems way under cooked. Maybe next expansion 🤷‍♂

Seriously?! The final boss? Is the main scenario story really short?

That Finale is a bit of a shame. The wanted to give us another Endsinger Final Phase but for some reason exactly here the Voice Acting sounds terrible...when you least would want it
