you can always cut army's paeon off early to maintain minuet 2 minute burst window so long as it's at least 4 stacks. if you drift or mess up when you end mages ballad. that and I think it's easier to give people a time when to transition out of the song (timer left) rather than duration of the song used. in this case it's 11 seconds. couple other small things to note. not full min/max but they matter a bit 1. don't get overly caught up on always using bloodletter on cd, the double weave of it can clip empyreal. sometimes it's just better to hold it for a second to empyreal. . . 2. when refreshing dots with iron jaws, remember that iron jaws can also proc refulgent arrow. so refresh it at like 5 seconds left on dots as a general rule until you're comfy with it. that way if you proc a refulgent at the gcd just before, you have room to use the refulgent before the IJ and not losing anything. You refresh dots during our burst window anyway, and cut mages ballad short w/ 45 second dots. you won't loose any dot uptime and still use the same amount of IJ regardless. 3. practice on a dummy and get into muscle memory for song transitions. e.g. pitch perfect > mages ballad double weave. Just some small things that make it easier to keep everything on timer and reduce any panic (for those who are used to refreshing dots at 3 seconds or under, but see RA light on). Though one thing that you never did in the past but I see here, and after a few target dummy rotations feels needed. is double weave within the first gcd's after the paeon > minuet transition. More specifically to get all 3 buffs up and minuet early on. I'll need to check the balance discords breakdown to see if that's the actual method, or if you still intentionally never double weave in the first like 4 globals, or they can clip burst shots. edit: checked balance discord. and even with army's muse double weaving during the first 5 globals is doable. but you want to late weave minuet and not use it immediately after a global when transitioning. You also don't want to double weave BV + Radiant Finale until 3 globals after you begin minuet. with raging strikes + empyrial or raging strikes + bloodletter being your first double weave. Going in instantly makes the burst window almost too cramped and you don't get full buffs across the board as freely for your major nukes. (barrage refulgent, apex and blast arrow). since other party members may also not have their buffs up till 2-3 globals in as well.

that'll come down to rng. . . IJ will occur at the end of your buff window. which is around 18 seconds into the fight. . . that's up to 5 ticks +1 for empyreal arrow before IJ. so 2 full pitch perfect. Additionally if you're using IJ it means the buff window is ending, and you'd use a 2 stack pitch perfect there. So realistically you'd use 2 pitch perfect in the frame before IJ pretty frequently, or as the ogcd after depending where you place it/where buffs at/how many stacks your at. . . It's a more dynamic thing which he did mention when saying to use pitch perfect at 2 stacks if you have 2 and buff are falling off before you'd have a potential 3rd.

Don't listen to them. I'm a Bard player, myself, and it's really no business of theirs what you play, especially in regular content. Play whatever you enjoy playing. If you want to go into high-end content, then maybe you could care more about what jobs to play, but people in duty roulettes shouldn't be griefing you over what job you wanted to play (especially if you're playing it to level it).

Who told you that? Some of the best bards are on the top endgame raid lists. Bard has so much to offer.

I use a corsair scimitar, it's a bit worn but does the job and lasted me years!

such a specific question. . . I use the logitech g600 and it's perfect for me. Haven't tried a lot of others, but most are just too small. and for me at least logitech g600 has my extra side keys right in the perfect spot for my thumb. so i have them set for shift ctrl and alt in the 3 easiest to reach area's dramatically freeing up keybinds. mice are almost like ui, hotkeys, and keyboards. they're kind of specific to how you like to play and what fits your style/approach more. do you want only a few buttons? do you need something smaller or larger for hand size? do you need a lot of buttons, etc. it's almost better to go into a pc store like bestbuy which has various mice on display to check the feel of. and see what fits you. . . and how much you plan to use your mouse for.

Bruh they didn't "do it dirty" at all. The minute I saw the concept art for bows in ARR, how they had harps built in and you'd play music while shooting, I thought that was the coolest "archer" that had ever been conjured in fiction. Endwalker and I'm still a Bard. I don't know how you could think just shooting, would be cooler than being a bard while shooting. It's awesome, it's unique, it's clever.
