Haha truth, first day of patch release right after work, all but I think 3 people died from that first time on my run. Gotta love running blind and learning. =)

I only recently beat OM on my second attempt, after people left halfway through the first time I tried. I didn’t understand what I was supposed to do the first time, but it clicked wit me 2nd time thankfully.

@@Zolronak Yeah the opening is somehow your "not vulnerable" spot? Like I understand the mechanic but it's just a weird visual indicator, especially cause it's often on like...your back. "How do I best defend against this sniper rifle? Completely turn around and let him shoot me in the back!"

@@AdellRedwinters Exactly. The first time I git got because I thought it was a representation of my cone of vision so, theoretically, I'd parry the bullet unless I showed my blind spot (because it was almost on my back). Then I flied half the arena and died. It's a great fight but the indicator is so bad\counter-intuitive.

Don't forget the best part, the skill is called "Left/Right Handgonne" (Left/Right Handgun) XD

They will not. The MSQ was once again roughly half voice acted. They dumped a lot of the expansion budget into this 24 man series.

TomTwo that’s exactly what got me killed the first time. It sounded so silly in my head, “why would I turn the GAP in my barrier towards him?” It still gets almost every new player I’ve seen

The song is from Final Fantasy Tactics, and are the Bosses in this raid. Mustadio, Agrias, and TG Cid were my favorite characters.

The BGM was from Final Fantasy Tactics (1997).

@@bobseesall Sorry, I didn't see this before. You can change the objective with your choices. If you choose the option to help Mustadio, then the objective becomes to keep him from dying, which is super difficult. If you choose the other option then the objective becomes beating all enemies, and you don't get game over for letting him die. It's the same with Algus/Argath at the beginning of the game.

Seems to be using the same model as Cruise Chaser but I'm not totally sure.

@@TJetPrime the model and textures are different but it does appear to be using the same "skeleton" if you catch my drift.

@@PrimalShulk yeah the skeleton looks really similar to the cruise chaser when making a side by side comparison but mustadio has an overall different design so they aren't 100% clones of one another

@@Sneedboy Nothing to do with weebiness, it's just that the acting for XIV was extremely subpar at first which didn't work at all with the victorian type of dialogues the game has so I switched and since then its just I got too used to change back. The english dub is in a pretty good spot nowadays that said.

Phyllion it’s cool. Just messing around. I feel like the English acting is mad underrated still.

@@Sneedboy Well, may be stigma from when it was bad, people just can't shake the thought away I guess? Overall it's pretty decent right now, not all actor provide the same level of performance but there are enough to make it good in general. Gaius's new va for example is really good, just a bit sad they didn't get Epcar back haha

Yep! Stormblood added the Return to Ivalice raids, which explicitly tie the story of Final Fantasy Tactics into the setting's distant past, and exists as an alternate present to FFXII (as notable FFXII characters show up in the raid storyline, Dalmasca exists in the setting, and it turns out Rabanastre is built on top of Lesalia). Through the three raids, we visit Rabanastre/Lesalia, Goug, and Orbonne Monastery (which is deep in Viera territory, with A Certain Someone showing up to advertise playable Viera in the upcoming Shadowbringers).

He along with Ramza and two others used the stones to become guardians to prevent anyone else from reaching Ultima and receiving her corrupt power until someone worthy could finish what they started and banish her forever.

Been to Orbonne at the patch day with FC as a Scholar... It surely was a fun and stressful experience xD It hellish when people is like at "learning mech phase" but we cleared the entire raid with 92 sec left :p

It's an alternate version of FFT where they failed to kill Ultima and so had to seal her away instead. Ramza sacrificed himself, using his soul to keep Ultima locked up in Mullonde, and then Mustadio, Agrias, and Cid became good Lucavi to test people who were trying to beat her, to make sure they were strong enough to do it.
