Lady Wanderer I can’t be bothered to explain. Again, you got yours and I got mine 🤷🏽‍♂️. His duty was to bring back his people and save mankind. The same exact thing YOU are supposed to do this entire expansion. He did it for his people not ours. What may seem idiotic and “Ignorant” to you, to him it was what he HAD to do to bring about the rejoining and bringing his people back and “saving mankind” much like the warrior of light did. That’s why he took his example. But..🤷🏽‍♂️.

You're simplyfing the solution way too much. By your words, any process of solving the problems are the same, aka finding a solution. Ascians just have an easier time by creating a tool right away after finding a solution instead of having to search for them like us

@@scrwd4568 i guess what i was trying to say here was that they relied way too much on creation magic to the point where they'd die to solve the problem instead of finding another way. it's been a while since i wrote that comment (around 5.01) and with recent revelations i guess this doesn't apply to every ancient. BUT i still maintain the overuse of creation magic is what led to their downfall.

The first 15-20 seconds were so...old-timey Noire. "It was raining, and wouldn't let up for another 4 hours; I was in my estate in the Lavender Beds, cigar and drink in hand, and it looked like another uneventful night, like so many before...then that dame walked in. Eyes blue as ice, hair black as night and lips red as flame, with jewels corralled by her crimson-hued Sunday Formelle....and then I realized she was a lalafell, and I'd probably go to jail if I gawked any more than I did, even if she WAS legal"

The way that different genres are blended in FFXIV'S soundtrack so seamlessly is ridiculously brilliant. The music carries a lot of the narrative weight instead of just being background noise like it is in other games. Makes you realize how bland the constant "epic orchestral" pieces of certain other MMOs truly are.

My jaw literally dropped when I got into this dungeon, this is so cool! It's kind of interesting how Amaorot looks like Rapture, and this song has a sort of old radio 50's vibe when the glitching parts play. Totally made me think of Bioshock

Interesting how this song bears striking similarity to Great Gubal Library in melodic theming and note structure. Where it differs is implimentation, progression and tone. But you can hear echoes of one in the other.

tbh great gubal library is NOT jazz. its hardcore remix. and the hard mode ver, bibliophobia, which i love as well, is not jazz either. its contemporary classical. closer to the ghibli music. but this song here? listen to the use of bass, snares, and the freeform style of the piano. this is true jazz

The "tuning radio" intro is a pretty common music trope, was also used in Interstate'76 for example. But that aside, this exact piece made my mind about giving this horrid catgirl simulator of yours a try.

I still cannot believe that this one zone has 4 different versions of the same song and makes them all seem so different but refined in their own ways. Waited on doing this dungeon till the end because i wanted to see how they would handle it, and smoothe jazz with a bioshock aesthetic is a huge A+ from me.

Not sure why, but I can't get the headcanon of Hades and 14th being really into jazz while Lahabrea tried to pretend to not like it while being a huge dork in private. Lahabrea, an Ascian who will forever be remembered as a dork.

I was blown away when I first queued for this Duty. Absolutely one of my favorites, Piano just in general, but JAZZ that features piano so heavily... Me likey!
