FFXIV - Part 116 - To Garlemald 

is really leveling up the game here. Constant RP, even if it's just walking in the background. It's really a thing of beauty.

I swear, the whole contingent to Garlemald is unintentionally an absolute backhand to Blizzard's handling of WoW factions. Basically states why the faction warring at this point is dumb as fuck.

I loved going into Garlemald, I just wished we were able to go in there during its prime with the buildings and civilization still up.

Seeing the soldier's absolute horror when he heard that the Champion of Eorzea was standing before him, it really plays up the reputation with have among the Garlemald soldiery.

This game does so much better of a job writing good characters. Blizzard could learn something about this. And while it does not need to be said, FFXIV could also teach Blizzard allot about writing female characters. Throughout the game, from ARR on, there writing of female characters and the positions in the game they hold, are just great. Because the writing is so good, and the game and company don't make any deal of it other than these are just characters in the game, most people don't even comment on the fact from the start, all three major factions are lead by female characters, and each is diverse in there personalities. This is not ever commented on because in truth, its doesn't matter whether they are male or female characters because they are just well written and if you have well written characters, nobody gives a shit what sex they are. I find this absolutely refreshing in where we are these days! When you have well written characters, that is all that matters. But when you write your characters like shit... Then everyone notices!

This ilsibard contingent is so much more impactful when you have done all the job quests and know majority of the characters present and their roles. Sad, preach missed out on that.

Preach has one of the best Free Companies I’ve seen of any streamer. They’re hilarious and are always on theme wherever they are. 😂

I wish Preach would of had time to do all the class quests. A lot of the NPCs are from class quests he never got to meet

I think one thing is intresting is how advanced garlamald was compared rest world that we have seen aside aligan ruins. Like they had subways cars radios stuff rest world has never used or seen most likely

I would totally love a long quest chain going through the adventures of emet selch, like what he went through to build up garlemald

Have fun with the Crawlers in Hamburg m8 and Garlemald is such a good zone and story damn it felt as our real world.

Oh the parallels of Garlemand to stereotypical russia. Both funny and uncanny.

We really approached the Garleans wrong. If I could have created my own dialogue this is what I would have said, “Look we’re enemies. You were my enemy yesterday and you’ll be my enemy tomorrow. Hell you’re my enemy right now. You see that menacing tower though? That’s the source of what has caused so many of your people to turn into mindless zombies. Normally I wouldn’t care but, they’ve appeared all across the world. We’ve had some success in destroying them and can avoid being tempered. The only thing to do is cut the head off the snake and everyone is free from it. First things first though we need to help as many of your people as we can. This is your home and I’m sure you’re willing to fight for it. None of us can or will forget our past but, for now, we need to work together and save all of us.”

Love Mike, but absolutely hate his Tataru voice. I don't get why he does that.
