Very well done guide, I haven't been impressed with most guides recently but i definitely loved how you darkened and highlighted the mechanics, especially the half cleave and pizza slice mechs. Very well illustrated. Keep it up!
"Quickly compute the remaining safe slice!" ok but... like, how? Are there like, ANY good general rules to follow other than hope you have crazy good spatial awareness? Maybe a set of 2-3 patterns that show up at those specific parts in the fights that can only move a certain way? This is the main thing I've had trouble with in the fight, and after 2-3 hours of it I just gave up and follow any dorito(no clear). It feels awful, but it just does not compute with me at all and leads to me being quite frustrated at the fight overall and not really looking forward to continuing it. The concept for it sounds ok, but I'm at a loss at trying to understand it at all.
Don't worry it will require practice and as you said we're not all equal in front of spatial puzzles like this - the same thing happened with Zodiark! I would suggest only bothering about one path first, even if the boss uses 2: you won't die from taking only one damage with just a shield. You will also start to recognize the same patterns over and over (2 rectangles i mention for the 2nd purgation, etc)! I still struggle a bit with Triangles but I find Rectangle easier since you just have to be opposite to them!
the best way i've found to do this is look for the side that has the squiggle since there will always be one and calculate from just that one since it always seems to be on the left if you're facing the center from the side with the safespot
1 and 6 you have to see it or follow others. For there are others there are some easy ways to solve it. 2nd im pretty sure know it but the safe spot is always opposite of the "triangle" space the 2lines in the middle would Form. 3rd is the same triangle thing again but this time you go into the triangle. It is 2 8th pizza slices and as long as you are in the middle of either of the 8th slices and at least max melee you are always safe. 4th needs a bit of looking but very easy for once you get it down. The 2 lines go opposite ways. One will have a zigzag line rotating into it and and one will have a straight line. This straight line is your first pointer and for sake of explaining your true North. Half of the stage there is dead. Then you only have to see where the other arrows are spinning and follow them either east or west until you would hit the unsafe area. This 8th slice there right next to the unsafe half is the safe spot. 5th needs some computing but I don't find it that hard to get right if I imagine tracking the line from middle to outside. 1 and 6 I feel like you have to just be able to grasp it or follow the others if unsure. Hope I got everything right since I'm typing this on mobile and from memory. Can't check video while typing a comment.

Hey! So my guide isn't suggesting Diamond Strat (this would be 4 corners) and I find it harder to execute since the cleaves are more around 120° than 90° like P6S. It may be difficult to find some room to exchange tethers this way! But if you can manage it then sure, go ahead and do diamond! Many strats can work.
