I like to use the evasive jump to close the gap and use high jump onto the target, really helps get you in a prime spot to limit break without most players even seeing you, and it usually lines up nicely after ulting you can stall with guard and evasive jump to safety
Elusive jump is based on the direction your character model is facing, if you want to close the gap turn your character so your back is in the direction you want to go.
My trick to playing any job now is knowing the cc off every job and what classes I want to focus over others, trying out every roll was such a big help.
@@salamanderYT yea but it’s the ones you do see that always kills you Well in my case it is 👀 Every single time I go in for a kill, there’s always two other random ppl outta nowhere sniping from somewhere off. How do you get that luck?!
@@jayr5mitty351 very few ranged players I fear knowing there skills I usually just keep my health high so they don't all get tempted to pile on me and keep them in sight pretend I am not paying attention before diving on them full power. Other way is I tend to target ranged players first even if not for the kill at least enough to pressure them out off the battle creating the opening to duel the melee and tanks.
@@salamanderYT yea.. hm… I guess I play cc too much and rarely play frontlines In cc, I try to target down a ranged and the other ranged (usually a blm) wants to jump into the fray and I have two on one. I can usually sustain for a decent while but die before the rest of my team take on who’s left. Which is very frustrating
@@jayr5mitty351 For CC I always look to attempt to pressure ranged player if not choice the next best matchup for my roll and as soon as I spot the opening on ranged players hit them hard and fast get them out the fight fast as possible to then either join my team or heal up ready for another brawl.
