Are the new EMD’s going to be running the full FGAR Line (Pensacola to Baldwin) or will they be serving select areas like the 3-4ish SD40-2’s I see regularly in the NW FL area?

Is this line in service all the way between Pensacola and Baldwin? I seem to recall a while back that it was cut somewhere in the middle before reaching Tallahassee due to a bridge issue?

FGAR is a recent acquisition of Pinsly, who until recently, operated a handful of branch lines in Central Florida that were being otherwise abandoned by CSX back in the 80's following the mergers that created CSX. Their business practice then and before that was to acquire a line in disrepair and looming abandonment, bring service to a stop and dismantle the lines after all service had ended. Of the 6 lines they acquired there in Central Florida, only the Midland in Leesburg and part of the Central in Forest City was dismantled. The Sorrento Branch on the Central probably would have also been dismantled if the Mount Dora tourist attempts hadn't delayed the efforts. But by and large, their business plan has always been to abandon and dismantle foundering rail lines, by turning a profit on the recovered scrap materials and equipment. I believe they ditched on the Mid-Florida operations because they had been there more than 35 years and the existing lines were not going to be dismantled anytime soon. Not going to be able to recover scrap from a line that's still thriving and making plenty of revenue. I feel like that's also why they dropped the Arkansas Midland, because it was thriving and growing, which is not in line with the plan for Pinsly. I hope that I am wrong and that they acquired these new roads with the purpose of turning a profit from a growing and thriving line.
