I like that their "rivalry" feels like something that we usually find on several fairy tale-themed movie. Like this Casturia and Sith; they are like a villager heroine and glamourous antagonist, respectively.
It's also thanks to both of them effectively being Morgan's "daughters" in a sense. Baobhan is her adopted daughter, while Castoria is (by Fae standards) her biological daughter, since she was created from the same template as Morgan. Castoria is effectively the "rightful heir" to the throne because of that, while Bao's just a usurper who wants to legitimise herself by beating Castoria in a duel.
@@jacksimpson8529 I am sorry what? How can you misunderstand this so badly!? Maybe you didn't play this story at all? See bud, Castoria is the mirror counterpart of Pan-human History Saber. Morgan is also the same. The different is the origin and the experiences they went through. See, Castoria is a Fairy from Avalon. Unlike Saber which born as a human. Morgan in PHH is both a fairy and a human but the Lostbelt counterpart is 100% fairy. The difference of this two in LB is that they aren't a siblings at all unlike their PHH version. Both came from the same source, the same template, you know clones. LB6 give us a detailed explanation how Gaia and Avalon have this system in resourcing the same concept that give us a minor explanation about the whole idea of Saberfaces. Point is that Castoria and Morgan are practically the same. They came from the same place they were created and have the same purpose upon fulfilling their mission. Before Morgan, her name was Tonelico, the legendary hero that have saved this Lostbelt history for countless times in dealing the Calamities (the island self-destruction mechanism). Tonelico have the same face and body as Castoria since obviously they are the same template. The difference is that Tonelico have more experiences in mastering her magecraft and situational affairs unlike Castoria who was practically a newbie when she arrived before and after she met Ritsuka and Chaldea. But something happened that lead Tonelico abandoning her original purpose and strived to become a tyrannical ruler as she had seen enough the innocent wickedness that the people-fairies she's been saving for a long time. To protect Britain, her Britain, she must conquered and claimed Britain as her own. There's no rightful heir to the throne here. What you been smoking? No offense. This isn't Camelot from Pan-human History. This is a whole new history that's already beyond parallel worlds that don't stray too far. Castoria isn't going to sit a throne. She'll need to ring the 6 Bells that embodies the sins of the fairies ancestors. Once done that, she'll return in Avalon, become the Holy Sword (Excalibur) and made this Lostbelt disappeared from existence. The reason she can't do this is because this divergent is already way beyond her paycheck with Morgan blocking her way and Calamities incarnating more heinous entities that both a danger to the island and Pan-human History. There I said a lot. I'm only here to correct your mistake. Since clearly you are outdated or misinformed by others. I played this story to the bitter end. I know what I know.
@@rogueascendant6611 Yeah, I know all of that, I've seen the story. No need for insults. Fae culture has them treating Fae of similar templates as family units, and since Castoria is Morgan's successor, that makes her the younger 'daughter' of the unit, poised to displace her ADOPTED daughter in the eyes of the other Fae, on top of Castoria being the true successor Avalon Le Fae while Baobhan is essentially the "fake" adopted heir. The point is that this is part of Baobhan's rivalry with Castoria, on top of her being royalty while Castoria isn't, which Baobhan mocks her for but then progressively loses her mind more and more thanks to a "commoner" beating her repeatedly in Magecraft duels and getting closer and closer to fulfilling her purpose.
@@jacksimpson8529 The problem is that you KEEP with the whole idea of Castoria as the adopted heir. I SAY IT AGAIN, this isn't Camelot from the story you know! Jesus Christ! Do I need to spell out more? And what rivalry? Castoria have this with Mab not Baobhan Sith. The latter is just being spiteful since she was beaten by low-born fairy from nowhere. There's no rivalry here. *rubbing* *my* *forehead* P.S. either you need to play this story again in My Room or just read from some lore materials. I hell no not going with this. I played way too hard on this.
