Thank you SO MUCH for this video!! I was having such a hard time threading the bobbin before that I gave up using it for a bit when my first bobbin ran out. This video was an excellent representation of how to thread it, and really the only good one I've found online.

This video made me so happy because my sewing machine kept jamming in the middle of sewing, after I watched this video my sewing machine was good as new because of this video. Thank you for making this video I really appreciate it.

As much as I was discouraged about not actually hearing a voice to guide me, I was able to do this without any trouble! Thank you so much for sharing this :) it helped me knock the dust off of my 4 year old sewing machine (never used) because I didn't know how to thread it properly! I decided to take another shot at it and I was able to do my first set of stitches within minutes of threading it! I'm so giddy right now :)

I place the bobbin properly with 9figure but the bobbin thread is not coming up.I can't see top thread going round and picking up bobbin thread.Please help.

Counterclockwise!!! Turn the bobbin winder counterclockwise instead of clockwise. It worked!

I did just like your video said but the needle is not picking up the bobbin thread. It looks like the thread is already wrapped around where the bobbin sits. How is this possible when you just set the bobbin in there?

Nevermind! I did it, had to rematch the video a few times. The thread being the same color confused me. I couldn't see that you used the top thread to fetch the bottom one and pull it through.

You make it look easy, when I do it the main thread doesn't go inside and circle around

Only helpful video on the machine I have seen

This is because the upper thread is unable to pickup the bottom thread to complete a good sewing. This is probably cause by the timing of the bottom bobbin compartment not synchronize with the needle. You need to open up the unit to adjust the bottom gear of the bobbin compartment if you know how to.

This could be due to the bottom bobbin compartment position is out of place. If you are daring enough to open the unit to put it in correct position.

How did you do that?? I've broken 3 needles so far! The needle doesn't catch anything, it bangs against the bobbin holder inside and snaps off! I'm about to throw the whole thing against the wall!

my needle wont pick it up? it just keeps getting the top thread all tangled and knotted around the needle to the point i have to cut it off

PROBLEM SOLVED HERES HOW: So I just had the exact same problem everyone else is having.. needle goes down but dosent grab bobbin thread... so I scanned through all the comments and I found out a lot of people are having the same problem and making the same mistake... TURN THE WHEEL THAT MOVES THE NEEDLE... A WAY FROM YOU COUNTER CLOCKWISE .. so if u stand or sit in front of your machine .. and the needle is close to you .. picture the wheel at the top as a clock and the hands of the clock are going backwards ... if I could snap a photo an post it here I would easly... I was stuck for a half hour instil I read u have to turn the wheel a way from you.. not towards you...

I could not catch the bobbin manually by turning the wheel. I had to use the low setting and gently press the pedal for few stitches and let up.

Thank you so much for posting this tutorial. I only wish you'd of narrated it...I have no idea what you're doing. You made it look simple or but I've been trying to thread the bottom for thirty minutes now. I suck haha. First time ever using it and I can't even get it threaded.

Hi i have bought this machine 1 year back, it was good. super performance. Can anybody help me to find out the needle number which one to be used. The model number is FHSM-201 i suggest to provide one needle pack with machine so that it will be easy to replace.

might have been clearer had you used two different coloured threads. the one that you see winding around is from the one threaded through the needle YOU NEED to have that threaded. i didn't total novice here. did have to watch like 30 times finally got it

Thread spool should be in anti clockwise and make sure you are turning wheel right way (that was my mistake)
