Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will finally pull the plug on its Fiat brand in India. The company's current product lineup includes Fiat Punto, Linea, Avventura & Abarth.

Fiat quitting India - primary reason is Fiat Never considered India as profitable market And they never focussed on Indian Market. Indian consumers want cars like Alto and wagon R, poorly made cars which Fiat didn't want to do. They tried to give Indians world class products but we were not ready for that because all we wanted was cars made of tin cans. Nobody buys these tin cans anywhere in world that's why these tin cans market is shrinking everywhere else in the world. Now this Guru is giving some stupid history lessons.

Hi .... Very true I onwed a Fiat palio of 2002 model it had all those feature which companies are providing after 15 years ... Fiat is way ahead of its time n v Indian don't respect d technology provided v r like fools running behind a brand sorry unsafe brand which is providing some milage benefit... It's true Fiat doesn't change every year with small small tech changes coz therz no need for that it has d technology what with maruti suzuki u will have after 15 to 20 yers... But whoes bothered...

@@sasalodu It was done for European market where Lane change assistance and other advanced electronic safety was mandated. but Fiat Punto did not provide it, hence it scored 0 in Ncap. The car structure/strength is still relevant.

Hi Carguru Sir .....I hv linea 2010 .. 2 airbags .. All 4 seatbelts .. Seatbelt reminder ..ABS ..So all norms already met 8 years back .. Driven to 165 KMPH .. 1800 KM journey done as well without a single breakdown .. I drove abarth also and not able to register if any other car gave me that feel .. Not able to agree with u..

I have fiat punto 1.3 multijet since 2011, there is no problem in car till today. It's driving and handling is amazing even on speed upto 155 km per hour. But now fiat stopped the production of car in India, its really a shocking news for fiat old customers.

I Say Fiat is being very intelligent, Rather than investing more and loosing money in India, They decided long back in 2012 to cut losses(Sergio Marchione ). We Indians will never buy anything with FIAT Brand, So they focused on a new Brand JEEP (but all internals is Fiat only) .

Sir, I own Fiat Punto. I m techno person. I study most components of my fiat car. Majority of them are europian made and as per europian standard. Most parts are made in Portugal and made in Germany. Even the front and rear bumpers are fitted with 16 bolts each. ECU and electronics system is sensitive upto level, if u put higher ampere fuse, it will show error on display. Maruti and common induan buyers don't know this. Fiat is fiat. It's FIAT engine who make Maruti as MARUTI here.

Arey sir I have fiat Punto grand and it has ABS, EBD, air bags, speed limit reminder etc and other security sensors installed. And yes it you ask about it's built quality, it's just outstanding and ofcourse it's award winning multijet diesel engine with Swift other cars has installed in it. And also swift and others are just match box infront of fiat.

Sir I love your videos but a minor correction for this video :Fiat Punto 6 airbags model with ESP has received 5 star rating in Europe. So approximately take it as 4 star for 2 airbags. zero star for no airbag,it also depends of variant of the car.The build quality of our car Punto has saved lives of people sitting at back when a speeding i10 crashed our car. And yes it was the emotion option pack ( 2 airbag model )

FIAT has Multiair petrol engine (working in Jeep Compass Petrol). Both these Multiair petrol engine and Multijet II diesel engine are compatable to Euro 6/7 emission norms in Europe.

I have a fiat Punto grande 2013 ..... iIcurrently live in UK and i am surprised that fiat punto is the most popular car here and is considered a drivers car even with international quality hatchbacks. i was made aware that fiat in India is closing down due to poor sales figures. I have driven Punto for near 8 years without any problems . I also own a Swift but the drive quality with maruti is a mere joke , Punto is a tank and maruti is a mere plastic stuff with higher mileage . I am very saddened that Indian customers are losing out to a world class product .....we just have no taste.........

Fiat never launched the famous Fiat Panda 4X4 in India. They never launched Fiat Quebo, Fiat Nuovo Uno, Fiat Mobili, and their 7 seaters Doblo. They also had Fiat Argo... Hard to say, but one of the world's best small car manufacturer could not gain market in India...

Fiat is doing same mistake with Compass. You can't run company with one product. Your explanation for fiat exit is THE BEST AND LOGICAL. I have seen many youtubers's video on this topic however your explanation is the most appropriate. Well done Amit ji. :)

Fiat Punto was 5-Star when its Made in 2005 not Zero time Reduced it to Zero and No updates as per new revision 5-star rating (for adult occupants) in 2005 is reduced to zero stars on the latest crash tests.

Guruji , Fiat linea / Punto ka manufacturing stop kar diya gaya hai sirf , Fiat company band nahi huyi h abhi tak kyu ki Jeep Compass bhi Fiat ki hi hai aur Jeep Compass achhese sale ho rahi hai isliye jab tak Jeep Compass ki service provide ki ja rahi h tab tak Fiat punto/linea k spare parts available rahenge. Fark sirf itna h ki non-running parts order pe milte hai. Aur Jeep Compass k service centres m achhi khasi servicing ki jati hai Fiat linea / Punto ki aaj bhi. Indian customers chutiye wahi ghisi piti Maruti ki gaadi kharidte hai isliye Fiat market catch nahi kar paya. Aur ek reason ye hai ki Punto aur linea m heavy strong metal body use ki gayi thi isliye traffic me unka thoda mileage kum milta tha aur isliye Fiat cars success nahi ho payi India me.

But jab mene unse uska brochure maanga to unhone kaha nhi aaya h...Ye mne 5-6 jagah pata kia... I was always wanted to buy Linea.. such a beautiful car when it was first launched. The problem with fiat was intetior quality. And as u rightly said lack of upgrades. When I earned enough to buy a car , Linea looks outdated with competitors. Heart break moment for me. The car that i once considered as my dream car was now not anymore. Wish they bring Tipo...

Jeep brand hv to give Its Renegade in Indian Market as soon as possible. Compass is good but the segment in which it comes their numbers dont sell as much like Ecosport, WrV, Brezza segment or else Creta. The sweet spot for Jeep now is to launch a car in that segment whr the market is very competitive. CrossOver SuV segment is very Hot in india nowadays. ✌️

I agree with you. There are some products in US under Chrysler brand such as Dart, 7 Seater SUV Journey from Dodge. They should get Renegade ASAP as it fits under sub-4 meter size. I have driven it and it's nice small SUV.

Jeep is definitely following same path and in long run it will be very difficult for them. Plus Maruti developed their own 1.5l diesel engine, that will be used in their 3cars. Thus it also impacts sales of their engine.

Nice narration, since i owned fiat Uno it was a great space effecient, good boot space, nice in gear acceleration for given price but poor after sales service bring eclips on this brand.
