It looks great (there may be a few blocks holding it up in places). I’m hoping to have it at least turning over and trying to start by Christmas. Tyres may take a little longer.
@@humpty7457 I really look forward to your shows ..I do the same thing here in England messing about with an old tractor and digger..its a jcb 4c 1963 and fergy tef ..I don't film anything .. maybe I should,,,my sister lives in Australia and works on projects in the out back driving 8 wheel tatra dump trucks..ang massive water sprayers chasing after graders and scrapers,,,maybe one day I will get down there to see her .. any how keep doing what your doing ,,,its great viewing,,cheers Andrew,
@@AndrewReid-wb9ih always happy to mate. I started the channel to make a visual diary, thinking myself and about 3 other people would watch. To have over 400 is truly humbling. Now the floods have backed off, I’m hoping to do more trees/flowers/on the land type videos and make the tractors a bit less focus (I think 5 tractors is enough for one bloke), but it’s always fun making old quiet engineering get loud again. I started watching RU-vid with @theskidfactory and @yesterdaysmachinery, which are both epic channels, and worked out I could film stuff as well, even if only for records. Anyway - stay tuned and tell as many friends as you can to subscribe. I’m hoping the channel can support my tractor addiction financially, if nothing else. And visit Australia - you may never leave!
@@humpty7457 you know there are thousands of tractor addicts out there In utube world doing similar stuff witch is fantastic,,, stumbling on to your channel has been great for me,,you know seeing how its done Aussie style..humpty 74 style..I hope your channel flourishes. so you can keep doin what your doin,,,if I could persuade my kids to [ive down under id be there like shot mate ..
Good day from Canada Our Mennonite neighbour had 411, scraped it , I think clutch went, I am not sure, he sells bearings v belts, dealer, everytime I go thur I see clutch assembly Thanks Good luck What is temperature down there now?
g,day i have a fiat 411 tractor diesel motor and front end loader work fine but i have no forward or reverse motion when put it in gear could this be the clutch i live at weranga out near tara qld any info would be appreciated
Mate - couple of questions - do you have it in low or high range, and not in between? (silly question I know, but I’ve seen it done on more than one old tractor), does it have any “feel” in the clutch at all, or burning smell? With the engine running and foot off the clutch, can you put it in gear at all? If you can’t get them into gear, and they grind a little, it means the clutch is working. Try a few different things (if you haven’t already). No drive if it goes in and out of gear could be something more serious than just a clutch. Did it go bang while driving at all? Clutch is the hot favourite though.
i thinkyou might be right about the clutch might have to get manual and pull apart in my spare time will stay in contact and let you know how we go thannks
