Keep the content coming on the Fiat 500e, can you discuss what the farthest trip you have made and also what speed you think is the best in your experience for the best range. Thanks
I appreciate the feedback....I need to stay on it. In case it takes me awhile to get another video up....let me tell you what I have found. In the city you get great range. Speed does really make a difference. But what I was glad to see is that you don’t use much more energy at 60 than you do at say 50 mph. After 60 though.....the wind robs the power fast. Also hills take a beating on range....on a straight stretch you really don’t use much wattage to keep a nice pace. I hate to say it...but cold hilly areas are not good places for electric cars. Warm and flat will get you miles down the road ; ) Take care and I will do my best to keep em coming.
I have not taken any trip longer than about 45 miles. I need to try a 150 mile trip to my sister in Seattle.....but will require a pretty long stop half way.
Last thing.....I owned a regular gas powered 500 (not Abarth) and the torque on this electric is waaay more than that little guy. That first gas one started my fascination....but this guy just has more style and spunk.
