Hello mate, Thanks for the excellent video! I own a 2008 Doblo with 28k miles, which had been converted to wheelchair transport. Rear suspensions have always been an issue as it scrapes the ground easily. I’m looking after it, so some heavy duty springs leaves and bump stops are next on the list. Since yours looks much higher now, how do you find the ride?
@@cainclassics1 Yh the ride is much better we changed the rear shocks the bump stops and the leaf springs much much better the bump stops literally screw off and you can get them off eBay for about £40 each 👊🏻 but now we need to do some work on the front and change suspension on front aswell as the back is much higher now but all part of the process 👍🏻
@cainclassics1 We do also have something we have built in the back of the car so that we can go camping as a family of 4 and the springs feel perfect I will have a video on that soon aswell 👊🏻😉
@@ogbob1 Good idea to work on the front as well. I was looking at front suspensions spacers, they usually come is 20 and 30mm and make the Doblo look like a small SUV. I think it’s a good idea to fit those so you will have an even stance. I use mine for work, so I carry building material and tools, but I’m going to build a boot jump soon. I might replace the springs, but being a low mileage van I only need to lift a couple of centimetres at the back. Keep up the good work!
