if you've got a knocking or clunking from the front end of your Fiat Jeep, Tipo or 500 the most likely explaination is are the drop links which connect the suspension struts to the sway bar. These seem to last as little as 30,000 km and are pretty much a consumable item. It is the ball joints that develop play and even a fraction of a mm will cause a horrible clunking sound when you go over bumps or pot holes but otherwise all is silent and the car handing isn't affected.
It takes about 45 minutes per side to change a drop link assuming you can get the nuts undone. It is a bit of a fiddly job but requires no great skill.

Maybe a video where we could see what you’re doing and not just make weird noises would be nice

On my Mk6, on the front suspension on the right side, there is a knocking on small transitions, on uneven roads, on macadam. The masters say that everything is ok with the suspension, but the knocking is still heard. I doubt the end links, I can turn the spinning by hand. What do you think could be the problem?
