Usually it’ll not be burning fuel correctly and the mix will be off when it hits the sensors in the exhaust system. Could be a problem with the ignition or fuel system. My focus had a flashing engine light, and the ignition coil was on the fritz. So fuel was going unburnt into the exhaust and igniting in the exhaust.
I bought a used Grande Punto 1.4 on gasoline , but the orange engine button starts flashing on the dashboard when I reach the 110km/h.. what can this be?
Will it permanently turn off the check engine light I have the same issue. I change the sensor for the check engine light continues to come on after resetting the check engine light continues to come on with the same issue.
Thank god this is a UK one. I have a Fiat 500 and only bought it recently. The engine light has now come on 3 times. First time I took it to the mechanic who reset something, then it came on again so I took it back. Was told air was getting in between somewhere so it needed parts and the engine light won’t come on again so he put the parts in and it’s come on again.im at a loss as to what the issue is. Looks like it’s gonna need a stay over at the mechanics
