I am using fiat Linea , Positive **- Parts are cheaper in price ,than Suzuki. Once I got 28 - 29 kmpl in highway. Traveling and driving comfort is very high. Negative **- Initial power loss. Interior plastic quality cheap. Low ground clearance , if not carefully driven ,a small hump can make a hit under car.

I own fiat linea 2011 model and clocked around 78000 kms. My query is regarding mechanical spare replacement. Did you change Clutch or timing belt between 80000 to 100000 kms ?

It is very important to change Timing Belt & Clutch Plates , have changed timing belt & clutch twice at 90000 Kms & thereafter at 1,50000 .. Also if you have Linea diesel please ensure to change air filter & engine oil at 5 K interval.

@@TechTubeIndia thanks for the reply you said that air filter and engine oil should be changed every 5k. Actually fiat recommends 1 year or 15000 Kms. Normally I will change once in a year and in an average I will complete max 9000 Kms per year. Is that fine if I continue to do so? What about oil filter and fuel filter if I change every 5k? Should I change or continue same filters? I use shell fully synthetic 5w-40 oil.ur response would be helpful

Post car being driven 1 Lac Kms , have started changing engine oil at 5k , Replaced Clutch at 80 K .. thereafter at 1.50 K .. Timing Belt was also replaced at 1.50 K.

Linea is better than city and has better mileage as well. maintenance is not that experience since same engines are used in swift, manza etc.

I also used both Fiat Linea Diesel 2010 and Fiat Linea T jet Emotion with CNG for a long duration of almost 5 years but if you didn't want any hustle than Fiat must be Company maintained only with genuine spare parts, it will never let you face any bad experience as it was the best car in the segment. No other company was there on that time when these model launched who offers such brilliant ride and handling quality. There is only a drawback ----its resale value which disappoint you every time........Proud Owner

I also have fiat Linea active 2013 model. And only 90k KMS driven and no issue with engine , music system is also working fine. I bought FM Bluetooth transmitter so I can connect my iPhone with it but sound quality is affected using the device. but showing some ageing problems such as central locking malfunctioning (sometimes), but I can live with it no other issues. I am happy with my car... and no comparison with Maruti. Maruti is far behind this car ...

@@afanshahkhan9331 . 2010 linea emo pack owner here. The car is solid. Better than the tin cans we get nowadays. A real tank. If u find urself a good trusty mechanic, all parts available online. Maintainance is actually not costly. I overhauled my engine ( oil leaked engine problem) , put in new pistons etc for 60000 rs.

@@9821116322 . Diesel. On highways it gives 20 or higher. In cities it gives me 16 -17. The only problem i have with the car is its bulk. Its too long for city conditions. And the turning radius is large too. Otherwise, good car. Its a TANK. Better than vw anyday
