Highlights on this lap is the overtake of a Porsche boxster at the bottom of the fox hole 6:58, and I got the middle finger by a very slow and I guess overwhelmed Belgian M3 driver 8:30
Third time me and my Fiat Panda has been to the ring.
13 laps in total now without any hiccups! - knock on wood.
This year I gave it some new budget tires 165/70r13 (Falken eco)
Otherwise this is a normal Fiat Panda 1.2 with 60 Hp (minus the back seat) and 176.000km on the clock.
Sadly I didn't really have the chance to go after my best BTG time of 10:48 this time round, as sunday was wet all day, and friday had too much traffic. Still had some fun, especially on the VLN version saturday, where this lap was driven.
Again a trip well worth the 1700 km drive back and forth from Denmark.

Being able to drive on a cars limits all of the time in a small car compared to only being able to drive only being able to drive a super car on its limits some of the time is so much better and more fun, i totally get what James May means which is why i went and bought a panda about 3 weeks ago and loving it :)

I really admire the fact that you have the guts to put a normal city car in such a circuit. I wish i had the same courage to do the same with my 1.4 T-JET 120HP Fiat Bravo (more or less same engine of the 500 Abarth)

tankjr85 Thanks a lot 😊 I really had doubts about bringing such a slow car to the ring, but as long as you know the track well, and keep out of the way of faster cars, there hasn't been any real problems. Most surprising was how fun it is in slow car! It really is good fun. I wouldn't have any doubts bringing a car like yours at all ☺️

Yeah it doesn't say much. I will upload my first lap on this trip later, where the boot hasn't been closed properly, so the exhaust note is a bit louder there :D
