I just got my iso keys to get the old tape deck out (same type of stereo, but with the tape deck instead of the cd player). I hoped it'd be a nice easy job, but some muppet had knackered up the pins on the right hand side. Hooray! Guess I've got a fun job ahead of me now.
I didn't manage to get those pin tools in far enough. I find out that there isn't holes drilled trough the plastic clips and there fore the release mechanism didn't worked.
If you have removed all the cage mounting bolt and are struggling with the lower section then you will need to unclip the heater panel and ease to forwards a bit to clear the cage mounting holes.This can be fiddly so take you time with it.
Really having trouble removing the radio, I bought the pins but they won't work. Am trying to use something to slughtly move it out, but nothing moves at all
