Fiat Stilo Computer easy fix get rid of all the electrical errors the car had 1.6 16v 2002

My wife just got home with all the instrument panel lights flashing and finally all lights went out ... found some sites with different solutions but decided to follow your video and check the contacts on the computer first and presto after 10 minutes my car was working perfectly !

Thank you so much for this video. Looking at a high mileage Stilo as a secondary vehicle. The price is a give away and I have always loved Fiat's. I am aware of most of the potential problems so it was good to know that there are some DIY solutions.

Thanks very much, this may not work on every car but it is a cheap and easy thing to try and did work on our car. We also moved the ECU away from the engine, I think the ECU was probably made cheaply and heat and vibration have taken their toll, hopefully extra solder and moving it will increase it's life

I couldn't really see what pin was failing but went over all 128 of them (with the help of my clever neighbor Simon) and maybe it made the difference. I went for a ride and did not have the "engine failure" this time which hasn't happened in awhile so. Thanks a lot and fingers crossed. Peace bro.

You said that those pins sunked into the Mainboard. Have you lifted them up, or have you realy just solderd those pins?

Hi Dracco121 i have a fiat stilo 1.6 active sport,im not getting any warnings on the dash. my problem is that the car will start and drive ok,then out of the blue it will just cut out. ive replaced the plugs this morning,im just wondering if my ecu has any dropped pins and could the cutting out be related to what you are showing in your video. when it cuts out and i try to start the car i get a message on the dash check vehicle protection system..then the immobiliser light stays on. after about 20 minutes i can start the car then it will drive for maybe 5 minutes or hours before it happens again..any ideas please.
