@kill everyone sorry but that's bullshit. T-Jet engines came from the Fire engine family which were basically the best small petrol engines im Europe at time. They were proven very reliable over the course of almost 25 years. Fiat produces great small-petrol engines and having 4 cylinders with traditional injection instead of 3 with direct injection is GOLD these days!

@kill everyone european engines from fire line were able to cover 500 000km despite being really small (1.1l for example). I get your point because as European I havent got any opportunity to interact with US market products from Fiat, but here in Europe is as I stated earlier.

​@@mazingguitar Engine is not the problem, it's everything else on modern day FIAT. Instead of building a solid car and trying to build reputation on quality, they keep doing the same game, cheap car as a disposable appliance, like a hair dryer or a washing machine that goes bad in 2 - 3 years (if you are lucky)

@@zexxonije Your opinion is quite opposite to owner reviews -yes the visible finish is cheap looking, but most Fiat owners are above average happy with how their cars hold up over time. The last Fiat I bought has been faultless over the time I owned it, it is the reason I'm considering switching back to Fiat, coming from some German cars that were nicer to drive, but ate my savings in repairs.

As Italian who owned a lot of Fiat cars I can say you have to fear nothing about the engine, specially on diesel ones, but also the t-jet are very good. A lot of really good car producers (also German ones like Opel) bought a lot of engines from Fiat because they're realible and cheap to run and maintain. The main problem is the build quality of the car interior, which shows many weaknesses over time. But for that you have also consider how much you're to pay for the car. That's why I think this new Tipo has a great value for its price.

@@TR4N1X mother has tipo combi with 1.4 atmospheric engine... Acceleration aint so bad for an engine without turbo and car is really comfortable, spacious and driving is amazing. People blame it because its fiat but never drove tipo before... Only thing i dont like is an interior but its an amazing car for that price.

@@ronaldderooij1774 I respectfully respect your love. I have tested the Kia/Hyundai engine, the Ford Focus 3 cylinder engine and the TSI 95 hp engine and I don´t like them. May be for that reason I bought a Nissan Pulsar 1.2 DIG-t model. If you can drive one of them, will check the difference between these little downsizing engines. ¿Better or worst?I don´t know, simply different....

The car is actually very noise. Go check out other videos then you see how silent other cars are.

I have 1.6 diesel s-design The engine has some more power than this so it can hold 180-200km/h speeds in highway corners... cant say its confortable at that speed but its not the kinda of car that you cant predict what will happen... it has a really good body, all wheels start slowly sliding before u lose traction. The downforce on this thing is great The behaviour of the car gives u plenty of time to react :) Under 150km/h is a good walk Super confy your passsengers dont fall asleep coz the position of the back seat isnt good enough to sleep otherwise they would 😂

Bravo with 150hp t-jet reach 240 km/h. But good/stable also until 180 km/h. p.s. but I drives 120) safety first)

It's unstable in the turns. The suspension is too soft and the only way to to contain the roll is to turn gently the steering wheel. Hope it helps

L'ho presa principalmente x questo motivo,fidati ho fatto un milione di ricerche e tutte portavano a lei,rapporto qualità prezzo non ha rivali,io ho la 1,6 multijet2 120cv lounge,ha su tutto,prendendola a gennaio con gli incentivi ed essendo un modello prima del restyling, la macchina l'ho pagata uno scherzo,nuova poi non km0....sono rimasto piacevolmente stupito del motore,soprattutto la coppia (320Nm),e' ben insonorizzata e con gommatura 225/45r17 e' perfetta,sia come look che come tenuta...soddisfatto della scelta 👍

@@ziobonfa96 hai nominato proprio la 308,infatti era l'unica che avevo preso in considerazione oltre alla Tipo,anzi ero più tentato di.pigliare la Peugeot all'inizio,ma mi ha smontato tutto l'entusiasmo il mio amico che ce l'ha da 4 anni,me l'ha sconsigliata e lui è pentito della scelta,io non riuscivo a capire,la Peugeot dentro e' fatta meglio della Tipo,materiali più ricercati,più eleganza ecc ecc.. i problemi sono 2 e grossi anche, i motori diesel non sono brillantissimi e cosa più importante ha già fatto 2 volte gli ammortizzatori,sembra guidare una barca,qnd prende un dosso la macchina continua a molleggiare x 15 sec ed è pericolosissima,devi sentire in curva se c'è qualche giuntura sull'asfalto,ha detto che non supera mai i 120 xche' la macchina e' pericolosa,in 4 anni 2 volte gli ammortizzatori!! E non la usa sullo sterrato o fa strade accidentate,adesso ha detto che la cambia xche' no si fida andare in giro e poi dentro fa un sacco di rumori,vari colpi e scricchiolii che arrivano da tutte le parti....quindi mi ha fatto desistere....e poi a parità di allestimento x averla come la Tipo,il prezzo più basso che mi hanno fatto e' stato 26000,impossibile trovarla a 15 o 16 se non usata fidati,quindi non c'era paragone con la Tipo...

@@JB-nj4cp well in terms of reliability Alfa and Fiat are pretty terrible so a Golf would be a better idea in any case, just don't buy the 2.0 tdi which was involved in the scandal ;)

Better gearing or better aerodynamics. 200 kg isn't really that much unless you are going like 400 km/h, this car probably has less drag and also might have a different transmission.

Türkiyedeki gibi Honda civiclerin sedanlarını malese almanyada sor bulursun, 0 yani civic'i yeni alanlar genelde Hatchback seçiyorlar. İyi Akşamlar. 🙂
