One of the many interesting things we experienced during the first day of the Bathya workshop at Sassy Jacks Stitchery in Weaverville, NC, is the variety of stands, scroll frames, and hoops people use to hold their stitching projects. Enjoy this short scan of stitching equipment. You may find a solution you like.

Thx for sharing. What model is your lamp? Thx

It's the Daylight Halo Magnifier lamp. I bought mine at the Attic but it's available several other places. Thanks for listening.

Fiber Talk is it 5 or 8? I’m interested but don’t want to either go too strong or too weak thx

Very interesting video. I currently use the Lowery but have thought about a frame like this, but I sit in my recliner 90% of the time to stitch, so don’t think it would sit on my lap very well

I’m new to stitching ... and I was wondering is a “doodle cloth” a specific product or is it just a scrap piece of linen?
@FiberTalk
@FiberTalk 5 лет назад
A doodle cloth is any piece of ground cloth on which you practice stitches or test threads. Typically, it's the same cloth/thread count as your project, but it doesn't have to be. If you just want to practice stitches, use anything and use cheap thread such as DMC floss, perle cotton, etc. Basically, a doodle cloth is a stitching scratch pad.

I love the magnifier clip on, on the second stand in the video. Can anyone tell me where/how to get one? And thank you Gary for making this video.

Tks for sharing, Gary. I wish you a great course there. Considering you’re gonna start “The Queen” you have to excel in class 😉
