Great job on the recore. When sailors do epoxy or polyester we usually have a end result that is stronger than the original. I think you have a much stronger hatch cover than original from the factory. Keep up the good work Cory.

I have not had any real problem using epoxy with chop strand. Plus having 45 min working time ;) Anyway, glad you got it done.

I've used it as well but it doesn't give you a clear layup. Turns out almost milky. Still seems solid but boat works today did a great video on the topic and had me rethinking using chopped strand with epoxy.
