This year's FIBO was my first try. I do have some trade fair experience so far, but this was a really huge event in my recent history. Luckily, when I was gathering some impresions for you this was not the open public day, but those for branch visitors and so the halls were not that incredibly crowded. Anyway, it was fair enough.
The great thing about that exhibition is that you find almost everything there dealing with the field of fitness and exercising. Not matter, if it's companies offering you coaching seminars for e.g. becoming a professional coach, any nutrition supplements, gym machines in numerous variations, sports chlothing, fitness devices that make movements a lot more fun, real bodybuilders presenting their muscles or medical health devices. So endless stuff to discover. Being one day there is okay. In case you wanna have a detailed look at all the exhibitors, you definitely should stay there for about 2 or 3 days otherwise, you just end up hustling down the aisles.
In case you feel like that's the right thing for you as well: the FIBO takes place each year in Cologne in about April. No matter where you come from, it is doubtless to say absolutely worth experiencing that magic show of fitness and health craze.
Just one additional information: for those of you who need a decent hideout during your stay in Cologne. Please start early enough looking for a affordable hotel room. The sooner the fair comes, the more expensive the hotels become. So about half a year before, you should fix all your organisation stuff, otherwise you might end up in an expensive mess. Other possibilits are of course for instance, AirBnB or any private connections.
