Fidel Castro made Las Vegas what it is today! Casino gambling in Vegas was not doing very well in the 1950's, while gaming in Cuba flourished under Fulgencia Batista. It was a multi-millions industry in Cuba in 1959 before the overthrow and disposal of Batista. Castro removed all gambling and converted the economy to a socialistic-communistic form of government and economy that exist today with some reformation. Las Vegas than flourished and was enhanced in the North American continent to the gambling mecca and adult entertainment playground that it is today.
I am honestly doubting that claim so much. Just look at our current generation(I am part of it) They're lifestyles have gotten so unhealthy and miserable then it used to be idk men
@@user-Prometheus i said "some statistics" but yea i personally think we will live until the very limit of our lifespan thanks to modern medicine. But we will eventually die because no living organism can be immortal and immortality on itself is a torture.
@vörtex . In Cuba slavery was abolished in 1878. IGNORANT ! We are taught that in high school And yet you come here to spill your ignorance. Go to kindergarten !
@vörtex . If you mean "education" in Cuba, good to make children believe fidelosky was God. Healthcare: no medications, no sutures, no alcohol, no medical supplies. Hospitals are pigsties, filthy. Doctors escaping in droves
@vörtex . In Miami, there are TWO MILLION sources. In Cuba, 11 MILLION sources. A little bit of a problem: they are too afraid to talk. But those in Miami CAN TALK. Go ask them
He wasn't just brave. He was one a few in the world history who left his rich life to fight for independence and to be among a middle class and poor people. RIP El Comandante!
lots of people seem to forget him and che left their wealthy homes in order to fight for minorites. They were one of the only true comrades. hasta la victoria siempre.
@@victorhrodriguez1159 can you read? i said they left their wealthy homes behind not that they were poor their whole entire life. Fidel indeed lived a rich life, he wouldn’t have survived over 600 assassination attacks if he didn’t.
@@aragotodragons8848 I can read. I am a graduate from Nova Southeastern University. They might have left their homes, but fidelosky AFTER he became THE BOSS he got very, VERY rich. He was a hypocrite. And he didn't survive 600 etc. That s A LIE of the comunists
Awww too bad isn't it?? The communist mass-murdering tyrant atheist piece of shit Fidel Castro is dead! LET'S OPEN THE CHAMPAGNE AND CELEBRATE FREEDOM FOR CUBA WITH MIAMI'S CUBAN AMERICANS! GOD BLESS AMERICA! GOD BLESS TRUMP!
+DeepSouth how?that follows an eye for an eye doesn't it by definition it basically means revenge killings. Also I'm not a communist, I'm a socialist theres quite a big difference.
Counts for what? Bankruptcy. Trump was born with a silver spoon in his ass. When given a chance to serve his country he dodged the draft, he can't even remember what foot was "injured." Fidel Castro's came from poverty, he literally fought for his country on the front lines. He reclaimed the land that American corporations stole. If Trump kicked Chinese or Mexican owned corporations out of the country his supporters would champion it. Fidel Castro is a man. Trump is a man-child.
And some in Miami are very discriminating towards African-Americans and others like when I went to the VA hospital there. I hope the Cuban people will have much better leaders in the future.
the Illuminati embarrassed soviet communism, but still needed other countries to remain communist in case they secretly threaten the U.S (Illuminati) to destroy it
"The last political leader of the Cold War is gone." Not sure how CBS defines "political figure" but the great Lech Walesa who led Solidarity in Poland is still alive.
Why everyone telling abou Soviet nukes in Cuba but not about American nukes in Turkey?? Btw Cubas disaster economy is only because of american sanctions and embargos. Btw good video :)
Because they can’t have communism actually working anywhere because the elites will be threatened by a revolution in their own country. But even with all the bullying and sanctions, Cuba is a lot better than the rest of south America despite existing for less time than them lol. Can you imagine without the interference ? Even with poor conditions and external factors, the Soviet Union reached USA level (not just military power) in much less time. Can you imagine what the Soviet union could have been without the threat from western powers, with better allies, without the devastation from 2 world wars in a row, without sabotage from within? It already became great with them, damn communism has enormous potential 😍.
I'm sorry but I don't know anybody can praise this man or Batista. For all the massacres and murders they caused I'm sorry but I have nothing nice to say about those two.
Janet Reno and Fidel Castro dead the same month Hillary Clinton loses the election. This is the happiest time in my life since my high school graduation.
@@spondoolie6450I’m kinda new to learning about Castro but I honestly respect him but as a Hispanic I didn’t learn much about him growing up besides the fact that most of us Hispanics hate him but what bad stuff did he do?
The day Trump chokes on his KFC there will be people in the streets cheering. You don't know how dangerous he is or how divisive or ignorant or any number of other negative superlatives. He ran his campaign on your ignorance. Now we ALL have to deal with him...
He may have mellowed a little with age and economic realities , but for decades , he ruthlessly repressed his own people , such that many risked their lives to escape. The nation's economy is a shambles . World leaders should send no more than low level diplomats to his funeral .
USA: *imposes economic embargoes and sanctions on Cuba, ruining their economy in the process* Also USA: I can’t believe Fidel castro ruined his country like this!
Who makes the government? The people. Who should rule? Same, the people. Democracy is the best. If you make countries vote for Socialism, Communism, or Democracy, everyone will choose Democracy. Communist groups like the Bolsheviks or 26th of July Movement (Communists' Revolutionary Organization of Cuba) were militarized groups that had military experience and that had no problem starting a revolution and establishing a government, but obviously the people didn't choose them to take control, they just assumed control.
roteazalee, Thank God, the scoundrel Fidel Castro should be in hell, NOT at peace with the Lord. Cuba has been destroyed for 64 years, by Fidel Castro and his senior leadership of the Communist Party and the communist armed forces. Whoever created the era of guerrillas, terrorism and leftist revolts has come to an end. Fidel Castro is the head of a VERY poisonous snake called left = communism = socialism. With total hypocrisy, Fidel exported the LIES that Cuba was a "paradise", where the people lived in comfort and care for a Revolution that provided better health, better education, a happy people, blah, blah, blah! How much manipulation and indoctrination based on lies!!!!!
In his 2009 spoken autobiography, Castro said that that Christianity exhibited "a group of very humane precepts" which gave the world "ethical values" and a "sense of social justice", before relating that "If people call me Christian, not from the standpoint of religion but from the standpoint of social vision, I declare that I am a Christian." ♥♥'s♥
zack: He came, he stole, he wrecked the country, he killed, tortured and imprisoned thousands of people. Only 5 attempts. The rest is comunist propaganda
@@DirtyWater if they had never put them in turkey or italy i think it still would've happened. They would force them to remove missiles or maybe even nukes from france or Britain (they would 99% say no however.)
RIP Fidel he crushed the Bay of Pigs and survived so many attempts on his life All mobsters found heaven in Cuba and many upcoming projects Coroporations.also like him or not he did what he thought best his actions helped build Las Vegas because he allowed Monsters to gather and build in Cuba
