This is a perfect example of ultra modern fencing, not classical or traditional in any way, showing the evolution of this amazing sport. Also Shikine improved on his speed. Looks very scary to go up against. Bianchi as well, both fencing like aliens
Actually, my first thought was just the opposite, at least for Bianchi, who utilised zero flicks, lunges in a straight line, like out of a cannon, his lunge form is like right out of La Touche or Liancourt (1600 French smallsword masters) and he voltas (turns out with the back foot and shoulder) for defense constantly, so much so that I thought Shikine had a point when he challenged on target substitution with the shoulder. This might be my new go to example of how Old Fencing style is in fact still relevant.
