I is extremely good, but II is even better. fief is a nice refresher from the typical dark sound that most DS tends to create (not that that's a bad thing, I just mean that it makes fief's work stand out more). Overall, fantastic album and artist.

this is my style of DS. i have times when im in the mood for darker stuff, but i enjoy this type more. it reminds me of video games. im a huge fan of lord lovidicus and more recently, hedge wizard.

+maziku LL and Hedge Wizard are both great as well; good taste, my man. As far as the videogame sound, yeah, I think fief does that pretty well without overdoing it. Some DS artists out there think that they can just slap some background noise on a chiptune soundtrack with vaguely medieval melodies and be done with it, but fief actually makes it sound like a finished product, which I very much appreciate.
