Playing the first scenario (Scenario 1 of 3) of Field Commander Rommel (Deluxe Edition) without any of the campaign options.
35:00 the 2 attacking allied units should have retreated to Cambrai, not Reims.
47:59 I forgot to use my disruption battle plan, rolling to remove supplies from the allies.
32:00 The second battle where I took 3 hits was not necessary since there was no "Press" in play. Stupid me!
1:00:00 The Allis took 6 hits but should only have taken 5 since they had a "Dig In", However, I still had the AT-guns and the Infantry to roll for + 1 tactics, so I could probably have killed them even in that round without having to take advantage of the enemy "press" which was in play.
1:05:30 I thought I missed with my panzer but I actually hit due to the "Elite" upgrade.

Wow, you've played this scenario 30-40 times!!! Concentration of force seems the key to winning this scenario - overstacking to get 8 or so BPP just from the units present.

great upload, it explained mechanics a lot and show how the game works. it seems to be quite nice solitare game. i have to consider to buy it in the future.

Thank you for your nice comment! It is a very fun game, but quite challenging! There are 2 more scenarios, they have some different units, battle plans and totally different maps. I'll do a playthrough of them soon!

A couple of mistakes I spotted: - At 32:00, during the Battle of Dinant, you continued battling after the first round was over, even though neither you nor the AI had the Press battle plan. If played correctly, the AI should've withdrawn back to where they came from. - At 1:00:00, during the battle of Arras, you scored 6 hits during the first round but didn't take into account the AI's Dig-In (although, with the AI's Press, you would no doubt have gotten the remaining hit on the next round anyway). Moments later, during the battle of Cambrai, you unnecessarily used your Tactics to reroll what was already a hit (you rolled a 6 with your Elite 31st Pz). If you had saved the reroll for next turn you might have been able to squeeze the victory one turn earlier. The latter was obviously not a rules mistake but more of a suboptimal play. These were the only errors I saw so kudos to you for a very accurate playthrough, this shows it's definitely possible to win this scenario. And to do it with so little misplays while filming is just nuts.

First of all: I want to extend a big thank you to you. That you have watched the whole clip and actually payed enough attention to both discover and then tell me the errors I did commit is something I appreciate very, very much. THANK YOU! You have vision like a falcon with binoculars! Now to respond: 32:00 Oh my lord, I took 3 hits for no reason! That was horrible to watch! 1:00:00 Aye that is true! Also I still had the AT-guns and the Infantry to roll for + 1 tactics, so I could probably have killed them even in that round without having to take advantage of the enemy press. 1:05:30 Another misstake that might have cost me dearly! It was a hit indeed and I could have saved my Tactics. I am happy that at least 2 out of 3 errors was making it harder for me. A victory does not feel rightfully earned if you commit errors that make the game easier. Best regards, Daniel Niemi

hello, I know the may says allies attack first, buy when we move that axis into deneb should not the axis attack first.

At 55:44, were you allowed to use a battle move to occupy an empty objective? Don't you have to enter an area that has enemy units in it? I guess it doesn't matter because you could make the same move later during the non-battle moves phase.

"You can move any number of your Forces during this step as long as each Force ends its movement in an area containing enemy Forces. If a Force cannot end its movement in an area containing an enemy Force, you cannot move it at this time" You are right! But as you say, it did not matter as I could have done it later on as a regular move anyway.

At 1:09:14, you spent one resupply point to "resurrect" an infantry unit; doesn't it cost two points to move a unit from your destroyed pile to your reinforcement pile?

It's only 1 resupply point (or 2 supplies, remeber, 1 resupply point = 2 supplies) "You can move Forces from your destroyed pile to your Reinforcement pile by paying 2 Supplies for each Force to be moved during your Refit step."

@@WW2SolitaireBoardGameChannel wow, you're right! I wonder why they didn't simply say you can spend a resupply point to do that, since it's the only time you can do it anyway. Why the extra step of converting into actual Supply points?

Then you will have to roll to see what action they do. This scenario is HARD! But it's cool once you win.

42:45 - Doesn't it say that if there are 3 or more forces are in an area with an objective, then 1 force with the highest attack advances? Why all above two?

I believe it says "all but 2 advanced". So 2 will always stay
