Hi Robert: As I mentioned in a comment on a previous video my wife and I did visit Waverley Hall on August 24th. Found the farm and took pictures. If you review your security videos you will see me waving to them. Wish that we could have met you.I bought a tee shirt, and we ate at the Polk Weed Creek.
My brother had two 57's, an original straight of the show room floor (Navajo brown) & a Funny car racing featured in 1975(?) Hot Rod Magazine ❤❤ they were Gorgeous!
My parents had a 57 Chevy when I was a child. It was black and white. Old cars are super good looking. My first car was a 63 Chevy Nova Super Sport, that I brought right after I graduated from high school in 1970. Love the oldies. They were Beautiful. ❤from Oregon.
Being raised with 7 brothers, and them all having old cars. I happy to see that one go. LOL My sister just admitted to my brother that she buried a carburetor behind the garage. I wish I would have thought of that. Our back yard use to look like a used car lot.
Hello Robert nice Chevy I love old cars especially the 57 my husband used to own a 2 door 1978 Nova back in 1984 was our first date when he picked me up in the 1978 Nova take care love from upstate New York❤😊
We had a Nova when I was a kid back in the 70s. Our mom used to get drunk and try to race other cars with my brother, sister, and I in the car with her (our dad would be at work). Never got pulled over, ticketed, or crashed. She was lucky! Gives me chills to this day.
Hi Robert 👋 👋 👋 👋 you love your cars 🚗 old American cars 🚗 are amazing 👏 plenty of room 😀 it would be great to see the finish project 😀 it's fantastic to save it they build cars 🚗 to last 😀 👍 Andrew south wales uk 👌 👍 👏 😀 🇬🇧
Robert, I've watched your Sidestep Adventures channel for years and have enjoyed it so much. Now, I'm catching up on The Old Byrd Farm channel. I have to admit, watching the hard, intensive work you put into restoring the land and the old Byrd house makes me emotional. To see someone so dedicated to making a difference by reclaiming a piece of their personal past is very uplifting for me. I am an old man (75) and through the years I've seen people move from dedicated hard work to achieve a goal to an attitude of "what's in it for me" and "how little do I have to do to get the most". Bless you for the example you show!
We don't scrap anything. It either gets parted to put several cars back on the road or it stays as is and gets a new life. Unusable shells are all I'll scrap
@@DeadPedalMotors ~ They might be old and falling apart, but these cars still have a story to tell. Kudos to you for keeping their story going. Hi! from California!😊
Hi Robert, wanted to thank you for all the hard work over the years making these very entertaining and informative videos. My husband and I have been dealing with a bad case of Covid and have been pretty sick. My husband is in his 80's and I am in my 70's....been a rough go of it. We happened upon your channel and had never seen it before. We started on your first video on the Old Byrd Farm and just finished the last one this evening! We have had weeks of entertainment from them. What a beautiful farm...you have done SO much with preserving it and the land and we look forward to seeing you continue. Thank you again...
I love 57 Chevys 2 door hard top and I like black cause it makes the chrome pop , actually I bought a 57 Chevy 2 door Nomad and its black so cool with red interior I cant believe I got it for 20 bucks it's a 1 : 18 scale in the box 👍😀.
Sure would be nice to see the car with a new coat of paint and shiny I think these old cars deserve a lot of attention because it’s a part of history that needs to be shared and bragged about
