I would use the C-433GRC for the cost, simplicity, durability, availability, and weight. However, I would NOT use the H-33 handset, but I would use the H-60/PT handset with the U-77/u connecter because of the improved sound quality with the C-433 in telephone mode.
I agree. I recommended to use H-33 because they are easy to acquire. H-60s with U-77 or 71 connectors are scarce. I have three. Two of which I made. The goal was to provide options that were fairly easy to acquire.
Could you also do a small video on how where to plug in the patch cables and just showing the inside of the switchboard that would be cool. Like I said I’m gonna be buying one it’ll be probably next month.
My first comment didn’t send but could you show us where to buy or make patch cables for the switchboard you have I am going to be buying the polish version.
I have a USSR issued P-193m which is a little different than the Polish version but patching works the same and you attach field wire to the binding posts in a similar fashion. The main difference is the P-193m has its own battery and handset where the Polish version you have to connect a field phone to function as the "Operator" to place calls. Check this video out that I did for the P-193M: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jNScTD--Iio.html
@@thefieldphoneguy8254 I am going to be using it for field use. I plan on doing some trainings with my group with these and think the field phones and switchboard would be a great asset. I am only buying two field phones for now just to make sure that where I get them from are in used working condition because I don’t want spend a lot of money then have to deal with the hassle of returning if I even could if they don’t work or are just to far along and not usable. The switchboard is gonna be used to connect about 4 - 6 field phones though.
You know that with an LP10 you need a field phone to run the switchboard plus the the field phone subscribers. Also most of the two wire surplus field phones you can find for sale will work with each other. I have lots of videos and will answer questions about pretty much anything about field phones and have helped people design systems.
I also will do custom training programs for free if you provide me some info on your goals. I also have a FB page titled Military Field Phone Collectors Group. Lots of knowledge and experience with field phones. facebook.com/groups/632699090958433
