No music, no narrating, just the recipe. You got to try this! I shot a nice turkey this year and I think I have perfected the ideal nugget recipe. Just the right amount of seasonings, sweetness, and batter.
Here is what you do:
Breast out the wild turkey (this is simple and I demo in video)
Cut up into desired size nuggets and place in a bag with pickle juice
Marinate overnight and then dry excess juice off nuggets with paper towel.
Prepare Batter which is:
1 Teaspoon Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon Powered Sugar
1 Cup of all purpose flour
Mix in 1 gallon zip lock bag
Note: For an extra-crispy batter at 1/2 cup of corn starch
Prepare Wet Dip
Mix 1 Cup of whole Milk
Whisk in 1 Egg
1/2 Cup of your favorite beer (IPA works best)
Heat oil in wok or deep fryer to 350 degrees
Dip nuggets in wet dip then toss into zip lock bag with the batter
Shake and then place in oil
Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown
Serve with Pickles and Chick-fil-A Sauce (or desired sauce)
