I love caimito

Growing up in Trinidad west indies caimato variety is very huge example I remembered fourthy years ago there a small dark purple variety looks like a barlet pear and also a very rare one that the tree grows huge before it fruit a humongous caimato big as a coconut if u don't harvest them the eweetness create worms here in psl Florida I got a regular purple and a green doing great

We never really liked Caimito in Cuba ,very ordinary fruit compared to others ,I guess that’s fine if you have several acres

I don't agree with the name , because this type of caimito have been part of island of the Caribbean for decades.
